If a surrender is a 3 yes votes, should the 2 no votes be ignored?

People are tired of playing a game and then two people constantly decline. Majority already doesn't want to play and this makes games much faster.

When the enemy has all towers up, but you only have your nexus. Two people decide to vote no. How much time will be wasted? What if the game is so bad and toxic it's a waste?

Essentially, the point I'm getting at is if 60% of the team wants to go - let them go. Nobody likes wasting time.

Probably not more than 5 minutes, it's not that big of a deal. Just play it out.

Yeah because letting duos hold the game hostage for another 10-20 min is okay because well the 2 of the 5 people feel bad about playing shitty and want to redeem themselves in an impossible way when the MAJORITY want to quit playing and not play with these players anymore? Totallllllly okay right? I swear nobody on this server actually uses logic.

It is OK because players do often underestimate the possibility of a turnaround. I have been in several games where someone was ranting and screaming that we need to just surrender and the game then turned around. I have been in several more games that were in even worse situations and when the surrender vote failed, everyone on the team, regardless of if they had voted for or against surrendering, chose NOT to act like asshats and worked together to see if the people who voted 'no' recognized something about the game that gave us a chance.

Servers and teams that are known to surrender earlier and more often are also known to produce a lot of players who don't know how to close out games properly and choke when up against the nexus turrets.

Read the first line and no its not okay at all. Also you've been silver every year so odds are you are pretty clueless anyways. If a majority of people agree that kim jon un is a bad person is he probably a bad person? yes. If a majority of people tell you that you that you wont win the lottery odds are you wont win the lottery. If you are losing a game and a majority of people are telling you that its over odds are that its over. You sir dont use logic probably why you are silver every year..

You will probably lose if you get placed on the red side, it has a documented statistical disadvantage, does that mean you should surrender every time you are placed on red side? Surrender doesn't mean "I think my odds of success are less than my odds of failure," it means "I think my odds of success are so low that I shouldn't even try." From the perspective of this game as a competition that makes no sense because any nonzero chance of success is better than zero chance of success.

A bad person is not a bad person because a democratic vote declared them to be a bad person. A bad person is a bad person because of the things they do, say, think, and believe. It is possible for the majority to have an incorrect view of a person and consider them good or bad in spite of what they wish to accomplish and have accomplished (according to polls in North Korea, Kim Jong Un is THE BEST LEADER)
