With a mask of Guy Fawkes having a dagger beard as the icon?
Considering that everyone is saying that akali and shaco feel subpar and both seem to be best built hybrid it might be time to add some more hybrid items to the game. Hybrid is returning to being the best build option for a few champs but they don't have the items open to them to make them preform well compared to others.

Zerenza2 votesShe has AD ratio's on her Passive(her new spin when she picks up a dagger has 125% AD and AP) her E and her R as well. Even though it's only Bonus AD it's still good scaling because Hextech Gunblade is an incredible item on her.
Even if she doesn't deal both damage she does have scaling in both.

Zerenza1 votesShe doesn't but hybrid items such as Gunblade do work on her just because she gains massive benefits from the raw stats, active and passives. She would probably still buy it regardless of whether lethality helps her or not if the active/passive effect was good enough. Not to mention if it gave both penetrations, she'd totally get it because not many items give magic pen that she actually wants to buy every single game.

But basically, an item that gave her flat Magic Penetration would still be great for her even if she can't use the Lethality portion, having flat magic pen is amazing since a lot of other items that give it she doesn't want such as haunting guise since she doesn't want liandry's torment. Then even if it didn't give a huge amount of AP or AD, she can still utilize both stats and finally if the passive or active items effects are still useful to her, such as with Gunblade. Chances are she'll still buy it just like with Gunblade.

Irelia Bot8 votesWhile Kat can make use of them the Lethality from a hybrid item like this would not do anything for her. This is jsut a suggesting to make hybrid champ who do both magic and physical damage in fairly large amounts able to have some flat penetration of some kind.
Kat does not do any physical damage outside of her auto attacks with the PBE changes.
Zerenza2 votesShe may only do Magic damage but she does still have scalings in both AD and AP and they are all fairly high, that's why some katarina mains who play the new kat use hextech gunblade, she makes amazing use of that item. I'm fairly sure though that she wouldn't use any other hybrid items even if they made a new one though.

I have actually asked for more hybrid items in like season 4 or 5.. But I got down voted a lot
This was back then tri force still gave some AP...
But now my "hybrid" item set page consists of rageblade, gunblade, and a lot of on hit items..
I experiment with champions and builds a lot..

I would try this new hybrid item on teemo and see what I can do using death fire making both the ap and ad work for my Q on teemo.
Gunblade would be a good start item as per the norm.
Adding this item would probably better it.

I would actually be far more worried about AD champions' potential to abuse it than AP.

If it was about the ability to go one or the other, then a huge portion of champions who aren't hybrid could be considered hybrid.
Of course, its hard to determine who is actually hybrid because of the fact that there's only one hybrid item (well, two I guess, Guinsoo's is kind of its own thing though).
The following champions are genuine hybrids:
(shaco, kat, and akali are becoming even more hybrid oriented in their upcoming reworks too)
Now, there are lots of champions who could be hybrid but have never really gotten the chance to be because of a lack of itemization
Now, regardless of who is or isn't hybrid (because it really doesn't matter much for this) the simple fact is pure AP champions just don't build Gunblade, so you don't have to worry about other hybrid items being potentially abused by AP champions.

Passive: next auto attack procs hextech bonus damage, dealing a percentage of AP (and maybe AD as well) as bonus damage. Auto attacks and single target abilities lower the cooldown of hextech passive (YUSSSS WE CAN LOWER GUNBLADE CD again).

Tank Fizz and Tank Ekko used mix dmg. They didn't build much dmg, but because it was mixed, you couldn't buy anything to really defend urself unless you were a true tank.

Troll for Trump1 votes? But GA is meant to be a last item for carries, and can't be rushed. Zz'rot is for utility, and while it can be rushed, it's pure utility. Not combat stats. We need a COMBAT based hybrid defensive item.
You can't buff their pure stats, as an item which provides both utility and combat stats just ends up being OP, unless said utility is extremely conditional.

If you're playing a Juggernaut, Bruiser, Tank, or Vanguard, you'll need early defensive items. In the case of the vast majority of champs that aren't true tanks, you'll be getting one offensive item as your core. You need an early option for hybridization, not GA, which is meant for lategame.
GrReaper961 votesYou do realise hybrid damage only starts to become a problem around mid-late game. If i would fight a hybrid fizz or ekko i would definitely rush mr first, since their ad isnt a problem early game. Same goes with kayle and teemo. I would most likely rush

reach the peak of their dmg really quickly, and then start building tank. They end up being more of a threat early-mid than late, when they're just obnoxious. too.
