Urgot is so good.

am not making a joke or anything. i think i played urgot. 4 or 5 times. despite being immobile. hes so good. into mobile and immobile champs. i only played him top lane. at dueling champs. and also making picks. and hes really fun. people should try him out. his mana issues aren't as bad as ezreal. hes fun to play. i picked him into a riven. and somehow rekt that riven so hard.

i honestly don't think he needs a big VGU. maybe a VU with a little bit of touches on his abilities.

but anyway decent champion that might need few touches and a visual update to be more popular

hes a solid champion. the only reason i think he isn't viable is the tear thing that he has to get. and he needs a visual and a new VO. but you got a solid foundation rito he doesn't need a big VGU.

He is not viable because if he doesn't land a good E that means he is generally dead.

hes fairly tanky. hes not squishy. he does very well against melees. i can see him being terrible against ranged champs like gnar.

nowdays "tanky" means something like "survive 2 more seconds"

Hes not good because his mana cost are way too high

this is why you build mana items on him like tear -> muramana and usually IBG also because his terror shield also scales with mana, so more mana = more casts + more shield. You don't build urgot as a full adc, you build him like a fighter/bruiser with both damage and tankiness because he doesn't need atk speed thanks to his Q, effectively alternating between auto atk and Q making him not rely on atk speed to get his damage out.

In my experience, he's basically a super version of Pantheon. Incredibly powerful early, but falls off like a rock in the late game and doesn't provide any utility that doesn't get him killed.

I actually main Urgot and he doesn't fall off tbh. He has to be reliant on his e to hit to deal worthy damage, but if you cannot land e, then yes, his damage is quite lacking. I typically go the armor pen 2 shot route for my build, and it's incredibly underrated.
