Quick question, why are we not allowed to THROW the snowball during movement restricting CC? (snares, roots, and POSSIBLY Cassiopia's new Grounded mechanic, I added that one because it makes sense to count it) I mean I understand not being able to use the dash function of it, but why are we not allowed to throw it at all? Honestly that doesn't make sense.
Gear Kitty1 votesFor the same reason Kat can't Shunpo when in the same position. The whole ability is coded as a repositioning tool even though in Shunpo's case it's instant, does damage, and provides %damage resistance.
Consider it like this; the snowball is a mark, where it hits is you telling the game "I want to move to that spot", much like a Trist jump. You can decide when to move there or if you even will complete the action, but as far as the game is concerned, you've declared intent to move. With that in mind, the game denies the start of the whole affair when you are not allowed to reposition outside of normal pathing under your own means, ala root, silence, and grounded.
