It May Be Time To Update Teemo

Disclaimer : This is not any form of salt/tilt and no I am not a Teemo main (I am going to hell, I'm not from there). This is simply observations that has taken place over the last 3 years of me playing the game.

In lower tier play of the game Teemo is just fine gameplay wise, he is an annoying little furry that everyone hates. However, once you start getting into the higher levels of play, Teemo ends up pretty useless. Sure he can still be annoying in lane, pokes with the single most annoying auto attack in the game (seriously, why did they let his poison do so much while Twich does so little?), his shrooms are irritating because there is no way to find them (enhanced red trinket doesn't help if you don't know where to look). The thing though is that outside of lane (and a number of times even in it) he does next to nothing meaningful at all. You have champions that impact the game, champions that make amazing plays, champions that are a total disruption, and then there is just Teemo sitting off to the side of a fight (if his global taunt hasn't gotten him killed by that point) not really having any reason to be in the fight, no reason to be pushing a lane because he can't take towers very fast at all, and has a super boring kit that makes people fall asleep just by using him because he has no actual mechanical play level at all outside of 'auto attack - blind dart - auto attack - auto attack -auto attack' and maybe a shroom toss once in awhile depending on how it is going. I know people hate Teemo, I am also a disliker of Teemo but for a totally different reason. If his kit was actually interesting in any form then maybe he would not get killed so easily and so often (in lane and out of lane) because right now he has no dynamic other than "Furry Satan that hits you with a poison auto attack over and over." Riot has been trying to make each champion fit thematically, but I don't see anything in his kit that would verify him as a scout other than his W's movement speed boost but even that is just boring, at least Shyvana's has a cool looking AOE damage thing when she does it. What do you all think? Is it time that Teemo got his thematic update Riot has been doing with champions for awhile now?
