3 Division + Mismatches In Ranked, Low ELO (Bronze/Silver)

I didn’t see this much last year but I have seen this a bunch of times in season 8. These 3 division mismatches (i.e. B3 vs S5) always get stomped in lane and then snowball. It causes afks or people to just give up. I know all of low elo is “trash” so I don’t need to hear it. Bronze and Silver make a huge player base in league. (around 67% of all players) So why does Riot do this??

I think everyone would agree that we would wait 2mins+ longer for a fair matching. As of now I wait 1:30 max, what’s another 2 mins? I know about the MMR system too. Just because a S5 loses a few games doesn’t mean he gets to pub stomp a B3 to get MMR back. Low MMR divisions should be matched with low MMR divisions. (i.e S vs S)

I would like to see the stats Riot has on mismatch lanes in low elo. I would have to say its got to be a 95%+ win rate or more. Why is this acceptable? We garbage low elo players deserve a better matching system as we represent the biggest player base and i am willing to wait longer for games to get it.

the thing that you dont understand clearly is that low mmr people ARE matched with other low mmr people. there are people in silver who are being boosted through and are trash or using someones account. there are people who lucked out on promos and aren't in the right elo and are being brought down and on the bronze side they could be doing a lot better than other bronzies putting them in with silvers because they are of the same skill group. just because you see a rank doesnt instantly mean unfair theres a player a person behind that. its like people instantly give up because they see people that aren't in the same division as them lol not understanding that theyre either playing really well and getting matched higher or vice versa. lmao.

I've played these ranked games a long fuckin time theyre no different and by now I'm quite sure they have their mmr system pretty developed. I've also played league a long fuckin time.

im a low elo player, but I know exactly how it all works because of amount of games I play that have ranked systems plus the amount of time I've played league. if you're bronze and being matched with silver feel good about yourself youre doing better and the system is trying to move you up fam. if you lose you lost oh well you'll have more chances.
