New Sion Sucks

Yeah pretty much, hes basically just malphite but easier to outplay.

He does suck and he's glitchy as hell, I need to press the spell 3 times for it to activate. His spells are easy as **** to dodge and his passive is useless, he gets countered by every champion who has a slow or a stun (which is like 95% of the roster).

I think it's time we created a thread so large they can't ignore us.

I'd have to agree, this is a garbage remake. We didn't need a remake of sion to be a mediocre tank who can have everything avoided easily... we needed a tanky melee mage that was viable and interesting. Bah....

Honestly, the most they needed to do was some number tweaking and making the old Q a skillshot.

Riot you ruined a perfectly good champ with the new rework on sion, he is now completely useless. It takes several seconds to revive, by the time you DO revive, the champs u were fighting are long gone. If they have slows or stuns which 90% of champs do, they are guaranteed to get away without suffering a hit. In addition, his knock up stun takes WAAAAAYYYYY too long to charge up and doesnt do hardly any damage. His shield is about the same as before and is the ONLY decent skill he has now. His slow is GARBAGE. Sure, sion is a crap ton better at clearing now, but thats NOT how hes supposed to be used. His ult is glitched as all hell and is damn near impossible to aim. Even if his ult hits, and you land EVERYTHING in his combo correctly aka: ult > stun > shield > slow, its STILL not enough dmg to do much of anything. Honestly all you did riot was take an AMAZING champ that had a shield, stun, awesome lifeleech/ias, and a dmg reduction passive buff and made him ALL CC. There needs to be a fix on sion ASAP. He used to be my fav top laner now I dont want anything to do with him jung OR top lane.

ALSO take a look at your CUSTOMER BASE and WHAT THEYRE SAYING. These are CUSTOMERS who play sion regularly and are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED at YOUR product. Not to sound like an A#@hole, but ever hear of the saying " the customer is always right?"

He's fucking terrible, old sion was my main. New sion is worthless champ who doesn't really have anything he is good at. The Nasus-veigar-sion trifecta is forever ruined.

I like how no one that used to main Sion pre-rework uses him anymore. I gotta admit Sion's current kit is even easier to outplay than Garen's.

His kit also feels too fragmented. His W and E should scale with AD and his passive might need a change.

I think people just need to settle into his new (very large) boots before we start to see how hes really playing out in a lot of games . I do feel hes lacking a bit in damage when hes alive, even when hes building mostly damage items. I think they could fix it by buffing his Es duration to maybe 3.5 seconds and making his slow last .5 seconds longer. This way hes able to get his combo off and still get a couple autos in for some extra damage :D.

I love the idea of his ult, but I wish it was harder to dodge than walking to the left when you hear the noise. I've my pal just walk left and completely avoid it's knock up/dmg. It's just a bit easy to outplay, especially when a champion has a dash. His Q also just feels weird. A 1s channel time for the knock up also sucks a bit, but it's AoE so I can forgive that. His E's cast time feels a bit long, but that could just be because I'm chasing somebody and I'm making an excuse for them getting away. The passive is alright, I guess. It's good for short skirmishes, but he's supposed to be the tank, right? He's supposed to charge in, I get that, but you're not going to kill the tank/tanky DPS first, especially when he's stacking HP with his W passive. I like the idea of where the new Sion went, but he's not quite done.

I only played him twice, though. Maybe I just need to adjust.

Huh... I used to think this until I got completely trounced by a Sion toplane, then understanding how to play him and have loved him ever since, so I have to disagree with your well thought out and poignant criticism.
