Being a Jungler is Awful.

Every single game, without fail, a lane will get dumpstered. It's just a fact of life that some matchups work like that. So why does that person always ALWAYS blame the jungler?

2/8 botlane "man why do you have no objective control, they already have 2 drags"

me, the 0/2 Sejuani, getting invaded by 3 people for the fifth time "oh, I'm sorry, let me gank the 6/0 zed who is 4 levels above me because jungle exp was nerfed into the ground while also ganking top and bot simultaneously and securing drag and rift herald"

I am so sick of the "blame the jungle" mentality everyone seems to have. I almost never fight with people and I just mute anyone who legitimately gets on my nerves but it is getting so bad that for the first time ever I considered just leaving because all 9 people in my game constantly harassing me. I just muted them all and played out the last 5 minutes but damn I cannot enjoy a game with people like that.

Back on the topic of jungle exp, what the actual fuck? I can be 3/0/2 and a level below both supports. god forbid I'm in a losing matchup and get invaded, because I will be 3-4 levels below their whole team for most of the game. The only time I seem to keep up in exp with even the duo lane is if i tax mid or top heavily after a gank. Each jungle camp seems to give minuscule amounts of exp and laners (ally and enemy) love to take them and starve you even more.

I feel this pain today, i got 3 afks and a midlaner flaming me and telling me to literally jump off a bridge and that my mom would be happy over that, said stupid shit like better jg wins and overall tried to belittle to me. Literally nobody was trying to help anyone that game on our team. Also, apparently I got ACE on that game according to OPgg, and yet I was the one that the 4 of them thought was the worst. Also only 2 of them have apparently not played after the game, so they COULD be punished but then again they could probably just be taking a break since they weren't different from the other afk.

yeah jungler is high impact but they cant solo carry anymore. if the lanes are shit you just lose lol.

Jungle is a dumpster role mate . Jungle mains like trick2g and oddone quit the role many years ago lol . What do you expect ?

It's a shitty role now , you basically go feast or famine . Exp is absolutely abysmal and they have progressively nerfed jungle camps for years now. I'm a top main myself, but I'd think it would honestly make no sense to farm jungle now to even get your items.

Just constant ganking and skirmishing mate , fucck that

Earlier today I had a Sett player who shoved into the enemy tower level 2, died, teleported back immediately, died again, then blamed me and said "ff15 jungler lul" because I hadn't ganked in the first 4 minutes of the game. He died, tp'd back TO MINIONS STILL SHOVED, died again, but I'm the one to blame. He then proceeded to steal all my camps for the rest of the game and whine in chat about he was only going to split push from then on. Of course, if I told this moron to fuck off I would be the one who gets punished but he is allowed to do this every game with impunity. Honestly the jungle changes were the final straw, I've been playing since season 1 and quit for the entire preseason. I only came back for the event and I'm still miserable. I get blamed for every person in the game's mistakes because they can't see past "bEtTeR jUnGlE wInS"

I agree dude, but as a top main it certainly goes both ways. If jg ganks me when I have 2 waves under tower and we can't get the kill, you actually put me behind.

Additionally, if their jg is ganking me constantly and I can't get return pressure, I will get snowballed on and feel useless. This is fine so long as we're trading something bot.

All too often, I get zero attention, have to play safe and lose cs, just to watch bot lose on their own (or even with jg help). The game is in a super temperamental state right now and it feels like snowballing is more uncontrollable than ever.

All I really have to say is we all need to be more calm and try to get to the late game. All too often a request for help is treated as a toxic cry to 'help me win my lane'.

dude, really, u're just a crybaby. first. in 90% (or mb more) games u will have trash teammates, no matter what role u play. it's normal, it's a common thing in lol, imho. there was once a game, adc was flaming me (supp) constantly, 'cause I backed to base too often (in their opinion). and every single game I play soraka or nami teammates flame me' cause I didn't heal them while my w was on cooldown (and I pinged and told them that but they ofc don't care, haha). and so what? yeah, I just mute them. well, I don't like when somebody flames me, but what can I do, if there are players who always can find reasons to flame others. second. don't forget jungler is a very important role. u're a playmaker, u HAVE to know where the enemy jungler is right now, u HAVE to provide vision, u HAVE to control objects, u HAVE to help other lanes no matter what. this is ur role in the game. and laners have their own duty. I'm not going to tell u everything they have to do, but I want to say one important thing: they HAVE to help u if they have lane priority, if they don't, u have to help them. if all three lanes are pushed, ur teammates are sitting under their turrets, there's no way they can help u. enemy team invaded? u have to remember this kind of thing can happen in every game, u just must be prepared every time. place wards, be careful, be prepared to press flash button. and if u don't have exp, go to lanes and steal it. doesn't matter if they flame u, u need it. and sometimes u need to help laners to push faster (after ganks). so stop complaining, turn off the chat, learn ur duty in the game and just do what u have to do. just remember: nobody will change bc of ur post, most players will still flame u no matter what. if u can't change the situation, change ur attitude

Well to be honest this is a case where you ought to blame Riot.

You see there is this jungle style that depending on execution and success is OP, the relentless spam gank style, and everyone who can pull it off are also OP if they make it work.

They just spam ganks all over and if they make it work it yields insane amounts of gold and EXP in no time at all while putting enemy laners extremely behind with little they can do about it since most of the junglers who can do this can towerdive from an early point.

Riot has been trying to remove this but they do not actually know how they want to do that so they´ve been taking shots in their perceived dark and are presently hitting just about everything except their goal.

Kinda the same for Akali balance at the present, or Irelia one in the past for a very long time before they finally removed her disarm&other stuff and reworked her passive.

Looking at Irelia´s line of balancing for reference we are basically at the -5 movespeed point, Riot still has no clue what to do by the looks of things.

Yep. I played a jungle game (in blind pick no less), got hard flamed by my midlane Ekko because he got ganked and died without using r. After flaming me and stealing my camps for 15 minutes he asks for blue buff. I was playing Warwick who's quite mana hungry so I took the blue for myself. Then he afks. lol

If you are bad wit game objectives you are bad with jungle, simple as that... Jungler is the second role that is responsible for map control. Which means that you must understand how game objectives interact with winning the game. You also need to understand what lanes to gank. And not concentrate on those who are winning or those who are completely lost... You must feel the flow of the game and understand what enemy is going to do at the given moment of the game...

If a laners blame you for something, they have a reason for that and you need to understand that if you leave some lanes without ganks, you need to push the game through other lanes instead...

If you concentrate on famr and levels alone, you wont be good jungler... jungler does not need level he needs good CC control and good tactical movements.. Most of the time you are gaking someone you are 2v1, level importance disappear at this point. Successful gank is determined not through levels, but through good tactical decisions... Understanding how the lane pushing works and how the enemy leaves his retreat route in the lane is a vital thing for a good jungler. If you lack those, no wonder you struggle... As a supporter main, I tend to notice that in many games I do more ganks until 15mins of the game than my jungler does... And this is certanly not a good sign..

Jungle impact on lanes because of exp nerfs is huge atm. Lane phases typically feel like 5v4s at best, and to often 6v4s as usually the inferior jungler is often instigating plays with little chance of success and is snowballing the enemy team.

It is very frustrating to have a bad jungler at the moment. And no it isnt always you... but sometimes it is you.

Blame the gank spam snowball meta.

I still havent seen this issue whatsoever.

I'm always average level if not 1-2 higher than the enemies. Even when I'm behind it's not by much. I get my items faster, and get more xp than before. Maybe not per camp but I do play a ganking jungler like hecarim.

Maybe the jungle is only fit for about 10 champs now but all the junglers I've played still arent effected by the changes hell I get more fed more often now.

Shyvana I clear all the camps 3 times before backing and I'm already level 6 while bot lane is level 4.

Hecarim I clear them once and gank before 5-6 minutes and either burn a summoner or secure a kill, oh look all my camps are back up, repeat.

Evelynn I can hit 6 before anyone on the enemy team is even 4, and once 6 you know what eve does.

Nidalee Clear easy, gank hard, sniper elite.

The blame the jungler ideology is still very much alive I just /mute all because fuck primates I don't approve of animals in captivity but that's what the game is.

it's even better when you try to defend yourself and everyone just jumps on the band wagon "Sorry you got a shit jg" "You didn't do X/You didn't build Y" "JG Diff" "9 man report him?" I gave up even trying to play jg for fun in normals

My friend and I duo draft pick and ranked a lot and whenever we fill jungle, we can get all 3 lanes ahead and still somehow be behind.

I can go 1/0/6 before 15 minutes and have equal CS to the enemy jungler and somehow I'm still the lowest level on the team. Wtf is up with that logic.

I agree jungle is no longer about snowballing yourself but snowballing your lanes. Some games I go like 0/2/10 because I know later on I am basically just going to be a minion with little cc. Unless I am playing ekko or nocturne, but even then assasains are still squishy and once silence or stun and you are dead. I personally don't like this new jungle. I would reccommend jarvin really good early and mid and doesn't fall off completely late game. Another problem with jungle, it is not fun anymore most champs like Evelyn and rengar arent as good as they used to be which sucks. Also, no wants to play it and it isn't newcomer friendly. I got autofilled top and my jg was also autofilled and he wanted to try it out. He went ekko and started wolves not sure what he did but it took him till the 3 min mark to clear his blueside. Near the end of the game he was like 1/5 and 3 or 4 levels below everybody else. He said eh would never play jg again. I have more fun playing nautilus supp than jg now sometimes, because if none of your lanes win or at least go even you lose jungle.

I just played sett top on 1/4-hp when a xin zhao came to top from enemy jungle. He thought im a free kill because i had low hp - but i was leading with 3 levels in the same time. I killed him easily because of this, and i wasnt even fed. Can't understand why did riot do this with jungler xp.

I wouldn't mind if riot didn't act like this isn't the most toxic game on the planet, and would let us have some serious back and forth banter. Being stuck in a 20 minute shit show because one low iq ape thinks the games still winnable at 4-24 score and your whole team is flaming you, and you can't say much back at the risk of being banned. Summoner code is bull shit and riot knows it. It's all for PR, pussy ass company.

Happened to me 2 games ago, playing Jax jg to get a quest out of the way, I am 0/1, can't gank any lane because they're permanently dead.

8 Minutes into the game and:

0/4 Draven: "What rank are u Jax omg" 2/4 Thresh: "u so useless" 5/6 Riven: "ur so trash Jax holy shit" 0/5 Sett: "Chill guys it's just a norm"
