Why Nocturne is bad and needs a rework

Whenever this topic gets brought up its always the same thing. Nocturne mains see Nocturne Weaknesses and want some improvements. While every other player thinks he is doing fine, usually because they are scared of him getting strong. LET ME ESPLAIN YOU A SOMETHIN

Nocturne is not doing "fine" right now. He wasn't even doing fine before the tank meta. He has never really been relevant in ANY meta or season. Though he may have a good gap closer, its his ult and it doesn't provide any cc. Now normally this would be fine because it brings him to the target and that should be enough right? Well seeing as its his ONLY gap close (no his q doesn't count) its pretty bad.

Now Noc does have some cc with fear on his e but it takes forever to activate. Oh and get this! If you get out of range for his e its stops the ability so no fear Fizz item 3070 Sad day..

So.. Nocturne ults and uses e on target. Target flashes and gets away. "Flash is suppose to be used to escape." Oh yea? Tell that to Vi Rengar Khazix LeeSin Nidalee Sejuani Elise

These champs have either the potential to one shot carries before a flash or have enough cc that it doesn't matter anyway. Which brings up another point.. Nocturne can't output enough damage either. Maybe because he is a squishy melee dps champ (like an adc with no range). He is a lot like Tryndamere Except trynd has an ult that makes him invincible for a short time and has a gap closer that can be used more often than Nocs.

To sum it up Nocturne is pretty weak with unreliable cc and is kited easily. Please hear this Riot

I would like to see one thing changed about Nocturne: the point of his Paranoia is to bypass standard gank paths, to make the enemy paranoid because they never know where he is coming from (before taking into account ward placement, that is). With this in mind, I would like to see a range increase to put Nocturne's ult into the range class of Grand Skyfall and Destiny/Gate.

Nocturne is like a Vi dropped on her head as a child.

Noc was damn relevant in S2... anyway, he was in a bad spot ever since then. The main problem i see with noc is that he lacks tankiness or damage. If you built him to agressive, you get blown up right after ulting in, if you built him to tanky his damage drops hard later on, which makes him reliant on snowballing. I think they should add some bonus-defstats for ~6sec on his ult, scaling with the number of enemies close to the target and give a small ad-ratio on the passive heal, so he can go a bit more agressive without getting blown up instantly.

Another option would be adding a 15-25%(increasin at lvl 7/13) armorshred for 3 sec on his passive proc, so he stays more relevant while going tanky in the late.

If you see a Nocturne on your team in ranked Silver I and under, DODGE.

I play him as an AD mid, and I've had a fair amount of success. He's a decent enough counter pick to a lot of those champions. A lot of those champions get screwed over by not having vision to throw skill shots and engage.

Hm. Nocture is just fine. I love his kit and it's working just great for me atm. Going to play him right now actually.

Hey man, I play a lot of noc, he is really strong, well at least in goldish elo, cause all you do is farm till 6, then counter gank, every time, ruin the other junglers day with some counterjungling because of op dueling with spell shield, + bonus q damage + fear, your counter ganks should pretty much always end up in your favor unless you pulled off something stupid (since you pretty much isolate at least one of them, unless they are moving as a small triangle, if that's the case you just allowed your teamates to escape) and get snowballing, Late game Noctourne is a monster, Devourer, Rav, Bork, Boots/Zephy, randuins and spirit V, a bit squishy, but hard carry.

Also, all of the champions you just pointed out, don't have a ult with insane range. They also can get cc'd (easier) and a lot of their cc is skill shots, while noc is point and click, even if you do have to stay for awhile, you blow a flash, that just means gank again, and again, and again, until their flash is up, then blow it again.
