Can we make sure she stays mid-viable from now on? It would be really nice if riot kept her there instead of forcing her to be support only.

Her heals are pretty insane when she gets AP. I saw Imaqtpie and dyrus have a game with a mid soraka. So if people in that high elo are able to pull it off, it's probably a thing.

In Bronze/Low Silver you can take AD Janna in the jungle in ranked, and few would bat an eyelash. Not so much in Silver, but I've seen it quite a bit.

They aren't trolling when they do this. They, sadly, do win in games against people in ranked with these picks. And since they win those games they take them into more games, word gets around, etc.

I've actually seen support LeBlancs two games in a row this week. As you know, like mid lane Soraka, it was briefly in the meta a while ago.

I actually think it would be a mistake to balance Soraka around mid lane. We have so many examples of why it's super unhealthy when supports are balanced around other roles. See Lulu and Tahm Kench, and then look at what a failure Sona is compared to other supports because she needs so much AP. She is a support that should be played more in mid lane. A support having dual lanes tends to hold them back a lot.

Soraka is already the number 1 support right now.

She's not a midlaner... Unless you want to forfeit an important damage dealer for a support healer on steroids.

When you have a damage dealer in the Jungle and a Tank Bot, taking a Support Mid or Top instead of another Tank or another damage dealer is not a bad idea.

Sure. Then again I doubt a Soraka mid would survive laning phase even if she did get the "optimal team". x)

You'd be surprised, with the right runes and masteries and some gold she actually got some damage and most of that is early game, especially when you go Q first. That means she got one surprising hell of a lot of lane power when you add her huge sustain on top of that.

Vlad and Annie I simply shove out of my lane, Teemo and Fizz are a challenge, but manageable. LeBlanc and Yasuo are annoying because hard to hit, but I usually go even in lane. One game I had just one a duell against Fizz when a Lee came flying in, he died.
