So i used to think, if ever i died, it was my fault.

I changed my mind.

I just played a game. I played Karthus into Katarina. Not very favorable, but i do ok, manage to out cs. Then she roams and my team feeds her 3 kills. After that she could just walk into lane and delete me, and they said I fed after I went 3/6 in laning phase. She could dive me under tower, she'd 100-0 me in a second. That is not on me. 95% of the time, when you die, its on you. Situations like this, though, how can you blame me?

Edit: Lol, just silent down votes. No way that i actually could have done well once she got that triple ever suggested, just a bunch of idiots going "LOL A BRONZIE COMPLAINED ABOUT DYING, GET GUD NOOB LOL. DOWN VOTE DON'T EVEN ARGUE HE SO BAD." Keep assuring me that i am in fact right and the majority of this community doesn't actually know what they're talking about. All you have to do is make a decent suggestion on how i could have prevented that snowball by kat, but you can't, so you just down vote.

Maybe it's not your fault for her getting 3 kills botlane.

But when she comes back to lane after spending dat $ from those botlane kills, you need to respect her damage, which I'm guessing you didn't.

Tell me what i am to do when i have no escapes, she flash e's onto me, then ults, and that alone kills me. Tell me. Should i have not let her into e range, maybe? But if just letting her into range lets her get the kill on me... She didn't even need the q and q mark or ignite to kill me, just e ult. And she 100-0d me with it. What should i have done?

sooo...you fed her 6 kills during laning phase and somehow, its NOT your fault? Katarina roamed and you did nothing about it and afk farmed mid lane because..you were already feeding, and its NOT your fault...DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN?

Karth kas a weak early game, so it made more sense for me to farm. If i were to follow she could probably turn around to kill me, so farming was actually safer, and i wasnt afk farming. I managed to pick up 3 kills with my ult too.

I pinged mia. They should have warded.

The 6 kills weren't my fault cuz i had literally no way to prevent them. My team fed my counter. I didn't. I was out csing her, doing fine, then they fed her, and i had no opportunity to do anything since if i got in her shurpo range, she could delete me. It didn't matter if i ran, if she e'd to me i died. There was no way to stop it if i got in e range. She would flash to me to kill me, once out of bush and once over a wall. They fed her to that point. Not me. I couldn't be safe enough. There is no opportunity for Karth to deal with a fed kat. The solution is don't feed her, which i didn't do. Then my teammates did, and i lost because of it.

I mean, there isnt ONE damn thing you could have done better to prevent her from snowballing, or your team from getting wrecked? Nothing at all to balance her pressure??? NOTHING? I knew we were mostly countered. I thought i was picking Karth into ziggs. I was gonna start boots to avoid his bombs, i would have been ok at least. Even if fizz had gone mid, i could have avoided him enough that he wouldn't have been able to kill me, and he's immobile enough while csing i could have poked him. Even if we lane swapped and i had to deal with trundle, i could always wall whenever he pillar'd to kinda keep him off me so i could keep my farms up.

I had as many wards as kat. I also kept up in cs and farms. My team wanted to aram. I told them we're behind to begin with, and they have a fed kat, so grouping would be especially retarded. I told them that it would make more sense to farm the side lanes to try to catch up with gold and xp instead of sharing xp in mid and letting our bad adc quinn take all the cs. They told me i was bad and had no idea how to play, then had the audacity to point out my score as evidence of me being bad.

And since you bring up the match history, I want you to click on the match overview tab, scroll over the dots right below the team gold advantage banner, and see that until they gave kat a triple, which she got because they were being blatantly stupid, i was doing fine. They then gave her another triple right after that, to further cement her lead. I know the champ select looked bad, but in b5 even if they counter you, if you play well enough you can still win, unless your team feeds.

That's how Katarina works. it's still your fault - You could have seen she got extra kills and played more safely.

I played safely. I could not have played more safely in the laning phase. You don't understand. She flash e'd to me and i was dead. That was it. There was no counterplay. Should i have not even let her in e range, maybe. I knew she would have damage, but not that much

I understand. Katarina deels much damage and it's unexpected. but to make yourself feel "not to blame" because it's not "your" fault is wrong. If you pressured lane she wouldn't have been able to roam

I was pressuring lane. She still roamed. I pushed really hard just by spamming q Karthus can't output a lot of damage to towers, so it didn't really help though.

And that's what my post is actually about. How it wasn't my fault she got more. There was nothing i could do to prevent it. I warded, she didn't walk over the wards, she walked through our unwarded jung. So how i was supposed to stop a flash e ult combo, which i think she hit me with whenever she could, is beyond me. I played passive, i was under tower... I don't understand how it can be my fault. My whole strategy to avoid letting kat snowball was to not give her kills in the first place since she counters me. My teammates messed that up for me, and after that there was really no chance.

One you should've been out csing her by far and 2 that's how a Kat gets fed is by roaming. You should've been pressuring yourclane more and ping whenever you didn't see her. And you should've been getting hourglass If she was fed.

Well she is a hyper carry champ. She is extremely weak in Lane cs wise meanwhile your not weak csing she can't cs effectively under turret

I tried that. I would poke with q whenever possible and i would use q and if i had the mana my wall to zone her from cs and poke. I was ahead until they gave her the triple. I really don't know what i could have done, and no one can/will tell me. At least you're trying to give me tips though, and i appreciate it. Thank you.

Hour glass or exhaust helps tremendously. It is for the 40%damage reduction. I would have to see what your building

You failed to adapt to the fed Kat. If she roamed and got kills... then naturally you can't just pretend that she is 0/0/0 when she comes back to lane ffs. You should have played more safer, keep your distance and try to get some help from your jungler. Hug the tower or let the tower go if you have to, as long as you don't feed her more. Just inform your team that you can't do shit to Kat anymore and that you will just farm and keep your distance for the time being, before you get items to compensate.

All your own deaths are on you, something you did incorrectly.

When she was 0/0/0, i had a small margin of error. When they gave her the kills, my margin of error moved to 0. and if you actually read my post, you would have seen that it was under tower too.

edit: I tried to adapt to her. My op is saying that there was not really any chance for me to adapt. I tried hugging tower. I tried warding so she never got in e range. She flash e ults. I tried poking her down, didn't stop her. She could still dive onto me kill me and be away before e(alive and dead) a q or two, and my ult would kill her. Even under tower, she did it, but that was after the second triple, which she got when i was 2/1 still.

Hmmm, that's a frustrating situation that you didn't have a lot of control of. But then...league is a team game and sometimes that's how it rolls. You could probably still have played safer after she got her triple to avoid giving up any further kills/apply pressure so she can't really roam but it's hard to say how much that would have helped. Better luck next time

It didn't help. She flash e ulted onto me for a kill or two. I tried warding so i wouldn't even let her in range. It didn't work.

I know i was kinda in a bad way anyway though, since she counters me, we probably would have lost anyway, I just don't understand how my teammates could blame me

Haha they shouldn't, although your OP didn't make it all too clear about exactly what you meant. It came across as just "I'm not to blame for my deaths ever" as opposed to "my teammates were annoying and blamed me for feeding kat when they started her snowball"
