Will Riot ever fix the game ui?

Those are just examples.

When will Riot ever allow us to just simply invert the camera? Of course, one point people miss is that we do not play the game from a two dimensional top-down perspective. Our screen on the minimap really looks like an inverted trapezoid..... And clearly we see far more land on the top of the screen than the bottom.

Seriously this seems like a very basic issue. There's no doubt this probably affects pro teams too. Imo, should be tweaked. I would like being able to rotate the camera, or either to just flip the camera automatically, as is the norm in many RTS games. Which are basically MOBA ish. In DOTA 2, you can also rotate the camera.

You dug up posts from 2012 to get your point across. You do realize that LoL's balance has changed significantly in this time, yes? So much so that the comparable win rates WORLDWIDE, have now come into acceptable levels, with Red/Purp having the advantage in some cases, (see new dragon.exe.) You're whining, and asking for a change that would not only alienate a good chunk of dedicated playerbase due to the adjustment needed, but also remove most current pros, all in one fell swoop. Also, it is important to note that the camera angle and position was slightly changed with the SRU.

Thank you. I wasn't aware of that, however really what I meant to say with my links was just to put an example there. could you please show me a new (2014) chart of either SR beta or S4 of purple and blue's win loss rates?

That won't be necessary. I found one. http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/20npzj/blue_team_wins_57_of_matches_computed_on_10000000/

What I want to mention is that flipping the camera angle makes more sense. For instance, let's suppose by adding a certain object to purple side, you are able to balance the map. (I assume you mean the balance has been fixed because of map changes) Let's suppose you stick an HP pot right in the middle of purple's mid lane. And you balance the wins to 50/50. I think, if that's what you mean, then my god, I think it would have been easier to flip the camera. And would have made a lot more sense.

I think it's insane to declare that making a simple simple change that most other games have would "remove" pros, which I do not understand the meaning of.

Pro teams don't play with locked camera, so I highly doubt that it affects them all that much.

To be fair, I don't think anyone plays with a locked camera.

And, I believe in your post, you could have been a bit nicer. I do not understand why I would be whining by suggesting a very rudimentary and sensible fix. Actually, reading your post again, I almost thought you were being sarcastic. Could you explain why asking to flip the camera would alienate the playerbase? Is there a preference among people for a non-flipped camera on the purple side?

I have no proof on hand, (mobile) but the fact remains that the disparity is lower, you can see it in your own games, I'm sure.

What I mean is, with Dragon becoming a more important objective than i has ever been before, Red/Purple side, who has direct access to the pit from their jungle camps, (as compared to Blue, how have to walk around the pit,) and therefore have a safer position to control the pit from. With many games being thrown and won at pit, being able to safely control this objective is a huge "buff" in red's favor. + it's a looooooot easier than making a new camera angle function.

Is it that insane? Most pros only last a handful of years, as is. Once you start changing major things around these pros, who have essentially studied the way the game currently functions get estranged, increasing pro turn-over rate. A good example of this is watching Starcraft players try to adjust to LoL. While they are similar games, (LoL being based out of a starcraft mod, kinda,) these StarCraft players have a hard time functioning in the new environment.

I'm an asshole to a fault, apologies.

Flipping the camera is nice (better than current camera), but could confuse top with bot. I think Riot could rotate the camera 90 degree. Blue team keep moving from bottom-left to top-right. Purple team would move from bottom-right to top-left.

The map should be 100% symmetric and horizontal like TT. The redesign was a failed opportunity to fix the map.
