Seriously what's going on this season?
Just look at Champion.gg
You almost never see people with winrates like these topping each role. Except for Volibear, a lot of these champions coincidentally happen to be reworked champions.
Seriously is going on? The game is so incredibly snowball-focused. The first few kills early translate into incredible snowballs in many games and more than ever in season 6, OP picks are just outright OP.
I tried malzahar for the first time recently.... I will sarcastically quote riot when they said "We're happy with how Malzahar is now a healthy and fair champion".
It's not just me, right? I feel this game is just incredibly clunky now. The stupid part is that in some games, despite the fact that you're going to lose, the post 6.9 environment still allows you to hold onto the game, just wasting your time.
Honestly not really understanding what is going on in the post 6.9 world. I mean what are these winrates for instance? For instance how does Riot go around saying they're happy with Malzahar when first-time malzahar players start out kicking at a 53% WR?
Curious if others share the opinion that the post 6.9 world is honestly a huge mistake.
Just look at the champ bans in LCS... lots of people who were basically pick-or-ban were all early game focused, and for what I know, I don't think LCS games have been so pick-or-ban, EVER. But do tell me if I'm wrong. You would expect that at the LCS level people do what works for their strategies, and that certain champions and not skill are what really carry teams.
has the highest play rate, at 13%
None of these are snowball champs (Hell, Cass and Kayle are pure lategame DPS).
I'll grant you, Volibear is there due to how hard he snowballs, but neither Amumu nor Malza are great early-game snowball junglers, I mean, Malz literally has no CC pre-6.
Once more, Swain and Malza are a bit more early game focused, big bullies, but what is Karthus doing there? In a game entirely about snowballing Karthus should be awful.
Two of these are literally utility picks, Ashe and Sivir have subpar DPS and regular laning, but a great utility ult, it doesn't seem fitting for snowballing though, you'd see more Quinn, Cait or Draven if it was the case.
Aside from Blitz, the guy has ALWAYS had a fantastic winrate. There is no hard engage here, no forcing fights, no snowballing off a won lane, these are attrition supports.
