Is Thunderlord's Becoming a Problem??

What do you think? I think the main problem with the Ferocity tree is that the % penetration is heavily NERFED and the options for AP's that are not DPS champs are poor. I mean if DFT was more universal it would be totally different (deals true damage, applies on autoattacks, OFC with less damage, Im not insane). I think Riot should add a Poison mastery that applies on auto-attacks.

they heavily nerfed all of the keystone masteries in the ferocity tree. Now you have 2 keystones that do next to nothing until teamfighting starts while the other is only good on DoT mages... and even then it might not even be good on them anymore due to the nerf. Then you have the cunning tree which has 1 mastery that is useless unless you are a support with heals/shields, another that gives you some MS... woo i guess? and then Thunderlords while in the tank tree you have tank masteries. All in all if you are looking for the best generic offensive keystone mastery then Thunderlords is your main choice right now. It also doesn't help that if you are going 12/18/0 in the mastery trees then all you are giving up is the %pen over the flat pen (or CDR mastery is you really wants to have 45% max CDR for whatever reason) and either of the ferocity or cunning tree keystone.
