Absolutely ridiculous Doom Bots Sion setup

Right guys, if you don't know about this you're going to have your mind blown. So it turns out Bots don't often target Sion's passive, and his passive still deals 10% max health damage per hit against these bots that have a bajillion health. You can slap bots around and 100-0 one or two of them basically every time you die. Especially level 100 Doom Bots. You'll likely get 20+ kills per game.

The Death Timer in this mode is so low you can run Teleport and high CDR so that whenever you do a death run you can either Teleport or use his Ultimate to get back into lane instantly. Sion can be used to hold a siege that would've been done with long ago, simply by using his mobility, CC and extreme punching power to keep even Doom Bots in line.

Build: item 3748 item 3800 item 3071 item 3036 item 3153 item 3111 summoner 12 summoner 3 Be wary of Heimerdinger and Malzahar's Voidlings, they will eat you alive. Dodge Veigar's Dark Matter. Don't forget the one-two punch using Titanic Hydra's active.

Sion basically counts as 3 players at once in terms of effectiveness, and me and a friend playing Jinx managed to beat Doom Bots Level 100 with just us two pulling everyone else's weight. Riot disabled Brand for being stupendously powerful, do you think Sion will?

A full lifesteal build Sion can have 297% lifesteal (during passive) and heal for 1400+ per hit. Late game Doom Bots teamfights, he can wipe out the entire enemy team as long as he can punch people quickly enough that he out-heals his passive health decay.

Before this I though all melees were trash in this game mode. I'll have to take a look at this for myself. https://media.tenor.co/images/f13a71af50a1edf19aa3ef3621eb01b8/raw

Not to mention a Good Vel'Koz can get absolutely DESTROY doom bots and get triple kills left and right.

Put the two together and you guys get kills for DAYS.

AP Varus can 100-0 them as well with 2 abilities, but people forget about his % health damage scaling with AP since no one plays AP varus lol

Essentially, what you need to understand about doom bots is that you can't beat them. They were not designed to be easy. They cheat in any way possible and they are a lot stronger than you on lvl 1, stupidly aggressive and then become even more ridiculous when they die and buy items (aka 7100 HP DM Brand).

Actually, there are a lot of other champions that are pretty good for doom bots right now but you'd never consider in those positions in normal or ranked games.

TF, Janna (AP), Varus are examples of perfect waveclear champions, even when facing hard push bots like Heimer and Malzahar. They also have super long range pokes, capable of deleting minion waves and holding on turrets for longer periods of time. You need to stave off turret damage as long as possible and kill bots minimum number of times. You also need to keep your mid lane in best shape as possible as Teemo would need to get through turrets, which would give you enough time to hit him without him hitting you.

Essentially, these are the rules:

  1. Get TP
  2. Get Smite
  3. Don't fight bots if you don't have to
  4. Hold on to your turrets as long as possible
  5. Make sure mid lane is the least damaged lane because of Teemo
  6. Bots rotate to the closest lane once they destroy the first turret, and they repeat until all the first towers are out. The lane they were on last will be a 5 man Doom Bot lane so rotate with them or else you're losing the base.
  7. Once Teemo spawns, focus all your efforts on him because bots systematically split push all 3 lanes at once. it's very hard to defend all of them because Teemo just plows through mid if not enough people are on him.

Yeah, this is what I ended up doing. It's still far easier to just run a mage with good waveclear and AoE.

When I tried this it only worked ok. I think which bots you get matched against make a big difference on how successful Scion is, and also how successful your whole team is in the match. Most of the time in Scion's death mode I would just get blown up or CC to death before I could do too much damage. Udyr especially seems to be a problem, because he always goes for the stun immediately against Scion death bot, can shield himself and tank your death bot damage usually, and will actively defend whatever other bot(s) he is with. Most of the squishier bots run away real fast and it is hard to keep up with them long enough to kill them, especially with so much cc exploding all over the map. Once the bots all go to one lane they can blow Scion's death bot up instantly a lot of the time. I'm sure having a strong team backing you up can make a big difference in how effective you are or not.

Overall I have to agree with the above poster that a mage with good waveclear and AoE is much easier to succeed with, but Scion can definitely be strong in this mode.

How about smite instead of tp for the AS jungler item? Is it any good?
