Kassadin small stealth nerf included in 5.5 changes.

~~This isn't really a big deal but it's not documented so I'm pointing it out.

Force Pulse no longer acquires targets instantly.

What does this mean? It means that Force Pulse can actually miss if an enemy moves out of the area before the ability takes effect. Previously it worked like other old cone abilities like Annie's, Cho's, Morde's, and some others. Those abilities will decide the targets the moment the cast begins rather than when the spell takes effect. This creates some weird results like Vladimir getting hit by a cone ability after going into his pool. I've even seen Vlad die mid-pool because of this.

What does this mean for Kassadin? It means his engage range is slightly reduced. The tip of Force Pulse doesn't snag people anymore. Combined with the nerf to Riftwalk his engage range is much lower than it was before the nerf. Probably about the same as 5.4 Kassadin's engage range.

Is it a big deal? I don't think so. Riftwalk's range at 500 seems a lot better for hopping walls than 450 was, and the lower cooldown and mana costs are a big deal.~~

edit: Pretty sure I was wrong and jumped the gun. Still seems to hit things at max range.

Meh actually it's 700 range and has a pretty generous arc.

Its not a problem assassins shouldn't have range.

You are right "not acquiring targets instantly" isnt a problem. Actually the real problem is that Force Pulse is no longer so fast, so kass cant burst with his usual speed.

Actually I think I was wrong. It seems to be hitting at the max range still. Sorry everyone.
