First impressions of Ornn

Saw his kit and the first thing that came to mind was support.

Only been playing him support so far and it feels pretty good. Just plop on down on the side and item up whenever possible and just beat the other adc and support with your sack of money as they sit on theirs. Plus if your upgrading your gold item (as I imagine you should be) your also passively and actively getting more gold sooner than the enemy support.

Feels pretty squishy though that I don't think I'm going to be seeing him in the top lane meta even with his passive. His passive is pretty slow as well, so trying to take advantage of it in the jungle seems highly inefficient.

Riot thinks he is a top laner but it just feels too good so far as a support.

Probably a good duo with an Ashe, Varus, and other similar champions.

as a support, when i saw him, i immediately knew he was going to be a support. i mean, his kit supports it. he gets immune with his W, gives special items to his ENTIRE team, and overall has great initiation and tankiness. the biggest part about ornn is the fact that he makes his team stronger. overall he's good as a top, jg (2nd support esc.) and suupport. im waiting for him to go on sale.

I thought he was fun like a poppy hybrid I agree though I see him as a better support than top laner

Ornn does decent enough damage to let him go top lane. What i dont like is that i feel he has some mana issues early which means that if you want to deal with that in lane as a supp you cant really go relic unless you build some 125 mana regen.

I don't have issues with mana in the support role unless your spamming your spells. I play him like a warden in the laning phase until 6. So unless I'm getting a gank I just sit back and play passively aggressive. Plus I take the meditation mastery as well.

Unless your spamming spells I still take relic shield on him.
