Something regarding the ADC role

Can people stop flaming ADCs for attacking the tanks/bruisers? Some people really dont understand the team fight dynamic and blame the adc for not chasing down and killing enemy adc, and dont understand that the moment you try to chase the backline the enemy Darius/Urgot/Sejuani/Malphite/Irelia etc will jump on you and you will die,not to mention then you will be in the range of their APC ADC and support which can be a threat if he's someone like Brand. So please for the love of god let the ADC role do its job,hit the first piece of meat that is in its range and not try to be an assassins going through 5 people just to die.

The only thing that ADCs should target is the most immediate threat that they can safely attack in range. This is why positioning is key.

Yeah, it's the basic rock-paper-scissors gameplay: dps kills tank, burst kills dps, tank kills (or at least zones and force cooldowns from) burst.

The only way I would even remotely move forward to attack the back line is, did they use the cc? That is the only time you should move up to kill the back line. However even then you must always be cautious. Unless your going into a bruiser, I would rather not move up at all against them.

Yeah like when I was Cait , but forgot to change ignite to heal , in teamfights everyone be like " FOCUS VAYNE YIOU **** IGNITE HER , STOP FOCUSSING GAREN " wait isn't my job as an adc to kill garen ? he even had damage more than Vayne herself with his hybrid lithality tank build.

Yea i completly agree with that, people just flame and they dont think about that situation for real...i play ADC a lot of recenlty, but i think I ll stop playing it becouse i just can"t find a " NORMAL" support..its reall hard..Ok i respect just chilling with supports and trolling at normal games, but when i play ranked its a bit more serious its not joke anymore, and when I say " man play, support me, stop joking " that support gets " offended" and then he starts trolling, and that really makes me leave ADC role, and it pushes me away from ADC literally :d

I know how it feels like man to have bad supports,im a magnet for them,my best advice is play ADCs that are good even without support,like Vayne,Tristana,Draven,MF,even Xayah is good at surviving alone because of her root,and build some lifesteal early in the build like third item or even first (botrk) so you have more sustain and surviveability

This is my favorite thing to have people yell at me for. "ADC why no dmg?!?!?!???!!?!?" Well you see, I had to spend my time hitting the Sejuani and Trundle rumbling toward me because if I ignore them I'll die a swift and painful death. Contrary to popular belief, I do not kill them in two hits and I might need a little assistance kiting them both out. Some people just have a lot of difficulty understanding how the game works.

TBH Adc is one of the more team dependant roles because of this, I often have an easier time winning on tanks than adcs even though I play adc more just because I get to choose the conditions of when the fight starts rather than just hoping I get an angle to fire on someone from the backline. If the frontline is healthy and no one squish is in range you might as well use the time that you're there to drop the tanks hp and force them back. Its pretty standard to try and optimize your damage while making sure you're as safe as possible.

Anyone who says not to focus the tanks doesn't understand why ADCs get armor pen. That's all I'm saying.

Happens with mages too. Your entire team just leaves you and the ADC with 0 peel alone vs the enemy frontline. Then they flame you when they die and you're still attacking the enemy frontline.

Agree completely. The role of the marksman is to kill any target in range, and both their mode of damage output and their itemization is designed to let them kill anything given enough time. There's also this common misconception that tanky champions shouldn't ever be focused, but this is complete bullshit, because fighters can output massive damage of their own, and tanks can do the same with crowd control, meaning that if you try to pretend they don't exist, they can completely wreck your whole team. Some specific marksmen are meant to focus squishies, but ultimately their playstyle does not revolve around bursting squishy targets as much as mages or assassins, so holding them to that same standard in teamfights makes no sense.
