Burning pot for fast level 2

In mid lane you could kill 1 of the raptors on jungle camp spawn, then when the first wave clears (6 minions) you hit level 2 rather than at minion 1 wave 2 needing 7 minions. The best I can do is to lose ~200 HP to kill the first raptor then get into lane. I dont want to hold off on using a pot since I'd already be at 2/3 HP and risk dying to poke at wave 1.

Do you guys think it would be worth it to hit fast level 2 at wave 1, at a cost of a pot? Would be on someone who has kill potential at level 2 like zed or talon.
