Only problem with the LCS! Let's have more champs!

Anyone Else Tired of the Same 30-40 Champs?

Live4vrRdieTryn (NA) submitted 21 minutes ago in Esports I'm sure this isn't an original post. I'm a pretty new player, I love watching the live games- these guys are great no doubt. Fun to watch them go at it and try to learn a thing or two. Only major complaint is being forced to watch Lee Sin, J4, Elise, Gragas (annoyingly belching around....), Cassiopea, Orianna, Syndra, Taliyah, and the few others each and every almost everytime. I mean seriously. These guys are pros. For the sake of entertainment they can handle a rule where each 2/3 once a champion has been selected they can be selected no more. I think it would make it so much more interesting. So much more entertaining. There are plenty of good champions but they gravitate to the safest ones. Don't doubt that they practice niche champs! They certainly do. It would handicap both teams and open up so much more strategies, but of course it's mostly for the entertainment of the viewers, this idea. Perhaps this would be a good idea for an ancillary tournament?

For fun tournaments sure. But I think even in regular league seasons (maybe not playoffs) some methods could be implemented. It does hurt the coaching a little to know like what are actual serious threats come playoff time.

That said, I am tired of "hovering." Sure it is all fun. Sure I don't want to limit the pros freedom. But it is lame to keep hovering a champ you 100% know you will never draft.

Maybe if previously picked champion's were automatically locked out, and/or if previously banned champions stayed banned for future games, we'd see more variety, as they'd have to pick increasingly more obscure champions.
