In low elo ranked (I'm gold V), if one person feeds at all, the game is honestly gg, because that jayce, quinn, pantheon, leblanc, twitch, mf, rengar, graves, kha etc. is going to start one-shotting everyone, even the people that are supposed to tank. I don't hate the meta we are in but climbing is nigh impossible unless you get a decent team.
It is already a non carry meta, you just haven't figured it out yet. You are too focused into playing the game the same way over and over the way everyone else does that you have taught yourself not to try new things.
its always going to be like that though, if someone gets fed it doesn't matter who you are playing there going to wreck face.
rengar quinn and panth have rarely ruined "off meta" in any game i've played them with. OMG THEY PiCKED A QUINN I BETTER PICK A ... 
, and turn her into a squirrel for 3 seconds... and just not have to worry about her ever. OMG THEY PICKED A RENGAR/PANTHEON I BETTER PICK A .. tank? or a Karthus. Or .
If you are playing the game the same way over and over and expecting a different result, you are insane. Free your mind and evolve your style.
Because people are too set in trying to counter play them, rather then aim to do well for the whole of the team. Being the "god tier" character doesn't mean you're the best choice for the team. and guess what, first lulu kills your spell shield with her pix bomb, then she squirrels you. Boom.
