I'm looking for some top lane champion recommendations. Here's what I need from this champ:
Some mobility Good late game Able to win lane against most champs(I decided not to play gp in ranked for this reason) Not a cc tank Also looking for a champion I can play in 1v1 duels for fun, so if they can do that, it's an added bonus
Right now I'm thinking Fiora, I would play Riven, but it seems her role has shifted more towards bursting carries rather than fighting people.
Well Fiora is indeed better in the lategame, however she is also a harder champion to master. Irelia is easier to carry with because her kit is pretty straightforward.
Irelia is also harder to kill because she tends to build tanky.
Fiora is insane late game, is centered around dueling, very mobile, a good fiora can win lane, provides a bit of cc, can build tanky but she doesnt have to.
Irelia. One of the best duelists out there. She is literally unstoppable in the midgame, and thanks to the item changes she won't fall as hard in the lategame.

Fiora actually loses lane against non tank champions, but not hard and there's always a way to out play your opponent
Fiora and Darius are easily the best top laners right now. Build

and they are basically impossible to kill.
I'm honestly amazed that they haven't been nerfed since the reworks.
Riven bursting carries has a lot to with how most people build her, which is typically full AD, CDR and Armor pen, as well as the fact that most carries she targets are below 50% health so it doesn't take much to execute. You can build sorta tanky as long as the items you are building still have AD.
A tanky Riven build that I thought up but have not tested yet is
in no particular order yet.
In this, you get 200 bonus AD + 30% of your base attack damage + 1750 bonus health + 40% CDR + 35 MR and 30 Armor, along with a bunch of useful passives to make sure you are a pain in the ass.
Really any fighter could use this tbh. It might even be better on someone else, but I'm pretty sure Riven could make a lot of use out of this as opposed to most bruiser builds.
EDIT: You could also go anti-mage Sustain tank and build
and get effectively 74.1% lifesteal along with 345 bonus AD and again 40% CDR. CC would be a bigger problem here tho.
