Riot doesn't understand what 25%+ cdr on flash means. 25%+ off TP that you can later swap for some degenerate shit like exhaust on a 2 min cooldown is just the icing.

It's really fun to play with on just about any champion that relies somewhat on summoner spells. I prefer the original iteration of it where summoner spell usage gave you the tokens to exchange.

Probably, and more so in a competitive environment, but there's a reason Insight wasn't being universally taken even though it gave 15% summoner CDR without losing out on a keystone.

It's really going to depend on champion, as some have stronger synergies with spells than others

Anivia summoner 21 summoner 12 , with barrier already having the lowest cooldown, other midlaners could use it too, but Anivia's TP BS is stronger yet

Zoe summoner 21 summoner 4 summoner 6 Again making use of the low cooldown on ghost and barrier and having her W up more in fights

Flash ult junglers, especially since there are so few keystones for junglers to begin with.

As far as I know, Sorcery is considered strong because of the stat boni (AD/AP for taking it) and not because its keystone are so strong.

You get more AP/AD taking Inspiration as your primary and Sorcery/Dom secondary though.

Once Sorcery gets another nerf, there’s going to be little point to dipping into it. The damage won’t be there and the utility is pathetic compared to Inspiration or Domination’s Zombie Wards/Ingenious or Precision’s everything.

About the utility part: I really like the movement speed from Celerity, the extra CDR (and ability to overcap CDR without losses) from Transcendence, mana sustain from Manaflow Band... I find them to be useful for so many champions that many times I choose Sorcery for champions like Malphite or Kha'Zix (as a secondary tree). Under no circumstances I would say the utility from this tree is pathetic.

True - Janna with arc comet is insane damage and lane control but it is nearly useless once laning phase ends and everyone else starts building bigger ticket items.

Unsealed lets janna be insanely relevant all game. You can start with ignite for lane pressure, then move to Teleport or smite mid game for objective pressure, finally moving to Exhaust end game for shutting down a 6 item ADC. Smite in particular is super useful in Janna and helps immensely to secure baron/dragon.

Maybe a misunderstanding. I don't say that the keystones are weak.

I don't see Arcane Comet for example being insanely stronger than other keystones, yet Riot stated that Sorcery as a tree was overperforming. And some of it might have to do with the fact that many champions like to get raw AD or AP.

Additionally to the damage boost Sorcery offers naturally, it makes the tree strong in comparison. But not because the keystones are overpowered by themselves.

Aery- extra damage on any damage caused Manaflow band- lets poke champions spam abilities Celerity- lets poke champions kite and run down enemies Scorch- makes all the poke from abilities hurt more

You can get the same adaptive bonus stats by taking the domination tree.

So no, the sorc tree or inspiration tree is not just good because it can give you 25 or now 20 ap or whatever amount of ad.

Again, what I wanted to say is just that the keystones themselves are not the reason Sorcery is overperforming.

It's the entire combination of damage inherent the runes of sorcery, the utility it brings and the raw damage stats on top of it.

I actually just wanted to make the point that I don't think that Sorcery keystones are inherently overpowered, but the whole tree combination makes it strong in comparison.

The only "raw ap" ur getting is the adaptive bonuses. So really your problem is that u can't communicate. Not my issue if I take you at your word and you apparently mean your word to mean something it doesnt so you look dumb.

Let me help you. Rephrase to "my understanding is that the sorc tree is just good because it allows pokes champions to spam their abilities and makes everything they hit on extra painful". This is different from saying it is giving champions stats, the only stats given are the adaptive bonuses from tree combinations.

Yeah, the problem with spellbook is that at some point it will be considered a 'must have' the same way and for the same reasons that flash is a 'must have' summoner spell.
