Bard's Chimes should give some sort of reward to his ADC when roaming.

He leaves his adc at such a huge disadvantage, especially considering there is no late game presence anymore. Is it possible for him to bind to his adc and give them half the chime xp or some mana?

no

no, the advantage it gives to his team is the map presence and roaming ganks. and the advantage it gives to the adc if they are safe enough is solo exp. plus Bard is fine idk why riot keeps buffing him.

I suggested a while back that the health shrines should give a very slight hp regen aura when Bard is not around it. That would give the adc something to have while he is roaming.

Needless to say it was down voted and buried...

Because then he would start w and leave a couple mid lane to abuse it

Technically the ADC if he's alone gets more exp. The fact Bard gets exp from chimes basically makes bard's team have more exp than the other team (exp from minions + exp from chimes) Unless really your adc is zoned out from EXP range, which is a pretty big range.

Thats considering the adc doesnt die and can actually cs without the duo absolutely crushing him. Chimes arent worth the disadvantages. Thats why he keeps getting buffed. Hes currently not worth it for his utility. They have to keep beefing up meep damage until its crazy to make up for how bad his lane is

It does. More exp and a stronger support when he returns to lane.

You mean barely breaks even and leaves his adc behind because hes either dead or zoned to hell.

90% of the time, collecting Chimes is just a small detour either when warding or when returning to the lane from base.

Apart from anything, I usually join my Jungler and use Magical Journey to catch the Enemy Bot lane off-guard seeing as you can start one at the point of the wall near blue buff (all the way up near dragon pit) and come out just outside of Enemy Tower Range and completely cut them off.

While your collecting XP from chimes, your ADC is getting solo XP and leveling up faster. How is that not a reward for roaming?

Because generally, you get engaged on and killed under the tower, or zoned lose entire waves of cs all so that bard gets like 3 chimes.
