Honor Screen, who voted to surrender?

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this would be no, but ...

When a match ends in a surrender, could we know who voted to surrender and who did not on the honor screen?

I imagine that some people would want to know who agreed to "save them from wasted time"

Personally, .. if you voted to surrender, I don't want to honor you. That is my opinion, I know that a lot of people don't agree with it, but that's me.

You said it yourself but I’m gonna say it anyway.

No, that idea won’t do anything except those who voted for/against a surrender being potentially flamed/harassed.

By the way, there is nothing wrong with surrendering, especially if a game is so far out of hand you would need the entire enemy team to disconnect from the match to even stage a comeback. Penalizing those who surrendered just comes across as self-centered, but that’s just me. I’m talking about utterly one-aided affairs that sees one team with a 10k+ gold advantage before twenty minutes have elapsed kind of one-sided.

Well, since it would appear after game, the only potential flame could occur in the post game lobby, which one can exit at any time contrary to ingame chat (I know mute is a thing but still)

I know, but why give toxic players another avenue to traverse?

If the match was clearly lost, then who is going to penalize you? This change would have literally no effect in the scenario you portrayed.

I meant that even a lost game would still cause someone to be triggered if they found out who voted to surrender/voted no to surrender. Why penalize players who voted with nasty dialogue just because they voted? That’s all I’m saying. Sorry if I wasn’t clear.

If one guy voted no, but was overruled, then he knows who voted yes. It's everyone else. If one guy wanted to vote no, but the vote already passed, then he just votes yes so that the system can't point out he voted no. If two guys voted no, the vote failed, and the game was later lost, then that could cause a problem for those two guys. Solution? Only say who voted for/against surrender when the game is successfully surrendered.

I have to assure you it is a perfectly good reason to not want to honor someone for surrendering, as Honor is a system supposed to reward teammates based on their attitude . If one values a "never say die attitude" it's a valid reason to give your honor to that person hence a reason to "not give it to someone else".

At least that is what my logic tells me but I am open to opinions :)

On another note, if you voted no, and another person voted no, the match wouldn't have ended in surrender xD Unless you mean in previous surrender votes too?

Lol yeah, that is actually a good point. I had a match where I was the only one that didn't want to surrender. In my defense, it was an ARAM match, so ... why surrender? The matches are designed to be short, and it will either end on it's own relatively quickly, or it will drag out long enough that a single ace can mean a 100% comeback.

So I found myself at the honor screen realizing that they all voted to surrender and thinking (which was flawed logic at the time, I admit) if any one of them had not surrendered I could at least honor them, but since none of them did, why should I honor anyone?

i am the same way. i usually try to honor someone every game but if my team all surrendered i will not honor anyone cause they do not deserve the honor.
