Climbing or falling this season Why?

if you played atleast 2 seasons: do you feel you are climbing or falling? and what has changed that is affecting this season from previous seasons?

I have found this season easier to climb. I play mages. and season 2 was horrible because of the Warmog meta and probably just learning the game itself. 3-4 where ruff because i would hit moments of scripters and that made this really a miserable experience. Season 4 i also moved and started getting better internet.. season 5... basically my last memories of running into mass amounts of these people.. seems they have actually been filtered out pretty well.
What really helped me was the relocation of the servers to Chicago when i could play late at night and not get stomped by people in Cali just because of the ping difference that i suffered.
half way through season 5 i got rid of the Mac Book and now use a PC.. this game feels more stable on PC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbPuz48CFnw if any people remember Bloompie .. life saver for 2 season for me. This season when they first introduced DQ it was ruff, but now they have played with some numbers and i can feel the difference. Although i do disagree with what they did, the pairing adjustment has actually made it better than it was at the start of the season.

Why i feel i have climbed easier this season was understanding of the game. more forgiving for casters.. and stability of the game itself. IT support ty.
