Are there any girls in challenger?

I know not a lot of girls play this game, so statistically there's bound to be mostly boys in any division, but it makes me wonder. I can't see why there would be any skill differences between the sexes. It makes me want to get to challenger as a representitive even though I'm just an iron scrub

The reward for winning which triggers dopamine is higher in males than it is in females, this is why guys are more competitive about winning in almost everything not only video games.

So yes, there’s a difference in sexes in terms of internal motivation to keep playing, this is also why most gaming communities are males.

Anyways to answer your question, I know know of one her name is YaThatWasABanana.

lmao @ getting downvoted for facts.

he didnt say that no girls are ever competitive, but its literally a part of the male physiology, and hence men are more competitive in general. this ideology that men and women are exactly alike and there are no general psychological differences is getting ridiculous and isnt even close to reality.

Well, I don't play on OCE so I couldn't really tell you if there are challenger girls there, but in NA at least there were 3 or so confirmed challenger last season, and that was only the ones we knew. A lot of the challengers we don't know gender, so if I had to guess there is probably like 5-10 challenger girls, or just might've been challenger at one point recently.

But gl on your climb to challenger, hope you make it!
