Right now Irelia has one of the worst winrates in the game. Depending on the site, only 2-3 champs are worse than her. Despite this, she is still moderately popular at a 10% play rate or so.
What's going on with her right now and what does riot need to do to get her in a better place?

Irelia is fine, she just isn't that great in teamfights unless she is really fed. That and all the people who play her miss everything except for Q and R.

Tram Sam2 votesIrelia is fine where she's at, low skill floor with high skill ceiling. Punishes inexperienced players when they don't land her kit and rewards players when they do land their kit, pretty much what a champion should be.

Given that she's still relatively popular I don't think it's a great idea for her to be buffed, and because of her low win rate she definitely doesn't deserve a nerf. I'd say where she's at now is as balanced as her current kit design can really be, though maybe a little weak. The way she's designed just makes her really hard to balance, from what I've heard.
