Honestly the best way to win is just peel for the ADC you can even be lazy about it

the other day i played Orianna mid the usual just playing safe farming them all hell broke loose team fights started and it was a scary bit. However all i did was just shield the ADC and give him movement speed i was just chilling in the back i didn't even have to bother to set up an ult i just kept the ball on him and did nothing else. ( lost that match due to the other 3 running around thinking we had too much of a lead and dived )

Then today i had a Skarner match a bit ago all i did was sit next to lucian and ult or stun if someone got on him i don't even have to run around and engage all i need to do is scare them

Lastly i just played a Fiddlesticks and in the mid game i realized i don't have to put myself in danger to ult. I just need to fear and silence for my vayne. So that's it, you wanna win? use your CC to defend the adc don't get in danger to make plays. I was fed too but was not doing shit in comparison, worker harder than i needed to. All i needed was 2 buttons.

They're not as effective as your average ADC.

along with riven and veigar those are the only champions. because apart from veigar those other 3 are designed to compete with adcs with over buffed ratios lots of defensive mechanic lots of mobility Compared to any one else in the game that isnt an adc or assassin.

Veigar is a burst mage it's not his job to 1v5 kill everyone, he does have his passive but it doesn't matter unless he has 2000 ap and oneshots someone with just a Q. Otherwise he still must land his full combo.

Anyone that does damage and isn't limited by cooldowns with something in their kit that gives them great survivability can carry like an adc can, not just those. These are usually auto based champions like Azir and Kayle but can also be Asol, Karthus, Rumble, Yi, etc. If they get their items and stay alive, they will win fights.

Veigar doesnt need 2k ap with 700 he can easily q r a really beefy fighter none the less an assassin wait 3 seconds for his q again who for anyone who chases him while he kited through the cooldown. Thats ignoring his used to be hard to hit w until riot sped up the cast time then lowered the cooldown after based on a pitiful amount of every 50 ap he gets from his passive. Riot creates burst mages without adhering to the fundemental rule of what burst mages do just as much as burst mages doing large amounts of damage in 1 chunk is their thing big wind up times and long down times after trying to do the big damage are their thing Riot picked the big bright part and threw out all the coutner balancing pieces.

veigar is not safe at all, the only reason why he may seem safe is because of his E which many champions can either flash over or wait it out forcing him to fall back taking him out of range of the fight unless he just want to ult and die.

Yea this is the exact opposite of Veigar. I think you're just biased cause he's a personal counter or you've had some bad experiences.

8 second spell during which enemies veigar can run out of blink range or 5 minute summoner that isnt even gaureneteed every game if for some reason you have the crazy idea some thing else can work in some other way. or playing ezreal or Kassadin

It isn't. If your adc receives zero peel then he'll be useless all game regardless of how fed he is. ADC is a useless role without teamwork so how does it "dominate the game"?

Ehhh yes and no. Most of the time they deal enough damage to the point where they take at least 1-3 people down with them, namely if they're a Guinsoo's carry.

yea kinda of an obvious duh and i'm making a post about it but what i was getting at is that you can throw your weight on that person too, is less risky to protect adc than to set up your combo wombo

It's almost like a 10 kills mage is better off trying to peel for his 2 kills adc at the expense of his teamfight dps just because the adc deals 3 times more damage.

It's almost like there are loads of other champions and roles sans marksman adc that can do damage as well yet all the team fight and import is on one.

People whine about stuff like this but the flip side is you can be dominating a game 20/0 but if your team is trash as an adc theres nothing you can do because unlike other classes you cant ever legit 1v5 due to how weak you are if someone gets onto you.

it can be seen even more in ARAM when a team gets 1 ADC and 3/4 tanks/supports, they protect the ADC with tons of CC/shielding/healing and it wins them the game

The Skarner game you are talking about, your orianna won lane your kayn won lane and your bot lane won lane.

Your adc actually did the least dmg compared to top and mid.

everyone does know this. not everyone WANTS to play like this.

we dont que up with top, mid or jungle carries to play support for that one guy. youre correct, it is more effective. but the only one who has fun with this kind of gameplay is the adc.

Hm, I play ziggs and just carpet bomb SR and usually win, rarely peeling for the adc since I do the most damage even when my kda doesn't look like I should.
