The nerfs really hurt him and the meta shifted more to bruiser/carry top lanes vice tank top lanes.

meta has nmothing to do with anything either it works or it will not work. in my opinion the point of him laning is to gank. if he had faster base movement speed that would be nice but owell

I disagree. The rise of the juggernauts combined with the flora and gangplank reworks on top of his nerfs completely forced him out. He just doesn't bring much to the table compared to other top laners now.

as i stated use him liek i use taric . sets him up for the jungler to get kills yah sure i died more then i thought this last taric top lane however my yi jungler fed off there top laner hardcore and we won mao is no diff or you ccan use mao supp the saplings are good harass

The nerf on his ultimate hurt pretty badly, his main place is team play, he's not very good for solo queue.

He isn't the tankiest champion in the game anymore.

Darius has far more effective health with his q. Does far more damage too.
