I made a post about his W refunding mana on champion hits to making his laning less rough without making him overpowered. Maybe lowering the Cool Down as well for landing it but I don't play Talon enough to say if that's good idea or necessary.

Oakleaf Ranger1 votesWin rates don't mean everything, have you played the guy recently cause this guy feels way too mana hungry. Why does everyone assume it's gonna be assassins that get the rework? They also said divers and tanks were a good possibility as well
Michael Sykes1 votesokay you are right, but most likely assassins will get that rework. at the moment I am not sure if they need the rework more than other classes, but several assassins are just not so good in the role they were supposed to be (i.e. Evelynn) So no, I did not play him, only a couple of times in custom games, but I know that he can do well. I mean, he had that mana pool during the whole season, they only changed his ultimate, nothing else. I saw Talons which shove everything and Talons that lost. Probably he feels a bit weak during the first minutes, but his powerspikes are very big. I mean, he can all-in well at lvl 6.
Oakleaf Ranger1 votesHmm let me just preface that what I'm going to say is just from personal experience, there was one game I played as Talon in a normal game the enemy mid laner didn't bother to harass me for some reason, we just free farmed until I was getting near 6 and started poking with w to to be able to all in at 6. I started doing this with basically full mana at lvl 5 and I could already feel the mana costs hurting before I got 6 that I was actually worried I might not have enough mana for a full rotation at 6. That's how bad I think his mana costs are. Plus from the handful of games I played against Talon, I straight up man handled and put em behind that by the time they reach 6 they are low HP and Mana, low farmed, under leveled (bullied out lane) to be able to do anything with it. Last time riot looked at this guy was to nerf him FYI. Personally I feel this is a change he could really use from balance standpoint.
