Fizz Changes and what should have been done

The nerfing of his W and Q and adding back some of that damage to his ultimate as a form of amplification is an absolutely atrocious way of going about fixing him. It works on Ahri because her charm is a very low CD and she is naturally ranged. It works on Zed because it's a targeted ability and brings him right next to his target. On fizz however, who has no range, and still has to close to his target, it's a very poor choice. All of the items that makes Zed's ult weak or worthless make fizz's ult weak (or worthless), such as Zhonya's and Scimitar and in addition, it has the added fact that it's a skill shot, meaning half the champions in the game can just dash away or flash away from the ult. You have basically made Fizz into a Mini Zed, except without the poke, or the healing, and the weaker Autos, and the no siege potential, and having mana.... list could go on forever, the point is, the only thing fizz has now is his E dodge.
What you should have done to fix him and make him more skill dependent, is rework his W active into a skill shot where he throws his trident. Lower the CD by a couple seconds, up the damage a tad and turn it into a skill shot where it does damage and applies grievous wounds to whomever it hit. It gives much needed poke for fizz, who is the only assassin in the game without some form of ranged attack and has absolutely no siege potential, a bit of diversity in his play style, while at the same time, knocking off his sustained AA damage and some damage from his Q burst since there will be no W active + .25 ap scaling applying on Q.
Fizz is too one dimensional the way you currently have him. WIthout sustain, without range/poke to make him any use in sieges, he basically comes down to, instant bursting or be bursted. He all ins or goes home to heal or is dead. Making most of his damage tied into one of the easiest to nullify abilities in the game means he will just lose out almost every time. What a worthless assassin he will be now. If you wanted another bruiser, you have created one.
