ADC vs Wards

What is it that makes ADCs feel as though they're not obligated to use their wards?

Over the last few games normal games I've played, the ADCs never placed more than 5-6 wards, save for the few games where we were actively telling them to place wards in premade games.

So out of curiosity, what's the deal there? I don't play ADC much, but when I do I plop down my ward as often as possible.

In general, warding is unsafe for ADCs. They're the role that suffers the most from poor positioning and getting caught out. That's why high elo ADCs will get the blue trinket, to check vision more safely. Low elo ADCs probably don't ward as much both because it's unsafe and because they don't see the benefit of warding in that instance.

I find blue wards to be the most fun now for ADC when your trying to all in a enemy and they think they can hide in a bush.

Depends on what elo you play. Also most players besides support don't ward low elo and complain about dying from ganks and no vision. I usually just tell my team to remember to ward and ping where. Also ping where enemy wards I seen placed but don't have a sweeper lens at the time.
