so i just found out after like 5 years that all chat is disabled by default

I only play norms so i just assumed since noone ever said anything in all chat and the first part of the message says it is disabled that it was only for ranked. I cant help but be really mad that all this time it has just been hidden. Imagine all of the time someone has erroneously critiqued my playing and I didnt hear them to defend myself. Like why is all chat disabled by default? That makes no sense.

Because people who feel the need to 'defend themselves' often find themselves even further upset when they find themselves punished after taking their 'defence' too far.
