People duoing players abusing the Xerath script should be perma ban INSTANTLY.

I just read the post. and read AKALIHOLIC reply saying he was force to go through one of these Xerath. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/qt93LOpF-if-you-have-a-ban-ban-xerath-if-somebody-picks-him-dodge?comment=0009

Not fken surprise Riot didn't know and still after 9 hour of the reply some how Xerath can still be played. <This is not the point but when I was scrolling down i read another comment saying he had to deal with a player who did this script , I looked at his history and saw the Xerath scripter and when I was looking at the scripter matchs I realize something.FOR SOME REASON WITH OVER 27 GAMES HE IS STILL PLAYING, WTF kind of trash report system is this? I understand if they are reported for hack or 3rd party this they would probably need to be reviewed by a real Rioter but dear living SHIT RITO how much report did this guy accumulated in over 27 games and his account was not lock down for safety measure?

This is beyond trash work that it took you over 1 whole day and a half to even realize it but still done nothing about it. The sad part is that this scripter Xerath is actually elo boosting 3 noobs that are purposely abusing this,I swear they better be perma ban and if they do not then I will submit a ticket to actually see if RITO (Riot) actually do something about this.

Riot Tantrum which is the only Rioter who actually replies to some post but dodges the others, how much reports for 3rd party did this guy get reported for in over 27 games on Xerath and still nothing was done about it?What does it take for him to pop up on your radar too? Why I'm piss is players who are actually trying to climb in rank have to face this problem and the scripter with his noobs trash duos are getting practically Duo elo boosted, I don't want his duos suspended oh no. I WANT THEM PERMANENT BAN.

Scripting is LoL way of hacking and it should be called hacks, If his duo purposely know he is hacking and duo up with him on purpose to get elo boosted then they deserve the same fate which is PERMA BAN.

I will wait until Riot comes out and acknowledge this either bug/script/hack or what ever you want to call it and I will wait and see if the players duo with this Xerath gets banned or not, I already have pictures to submit to Rito if not but I want to see how good their report system really is.

Add on* Even though I know the Xerath will be permanent ban the damage has already been done, 27 x 5 for the players on the enemy side = OVER 135 PLAYERS MATCH RUIN AND THEY LOST LP which I 100% know they will not get back even if the Xerath is banned.

The problem is bigger than one person apparently. It's a widespread hack that people are paying money for. This guy is one of many players using the script. It's best to stop playing league or ban xerath.

Paquay12 votes

What I don't understand is why anyone would pay for this script. I mean, it's not like its glaringly obvious... Oh wait it is. Seriously, who is going to buy this and use it and think they will get away with it?

AFAIK they know they will get caught. They're a bunch of Riot rioters (heh). The website has a list of hateful comments about riot. They just like ruining the company.

Paquay1 votes

Wow, why are people so hateful over a game? I mean, if you're not a pro and use it as a means to pay your bills... why get so mad over it?

I was pondering why anyone would use it and the only thing I could think of was to get a quick LP boost by matching up with the scripter for like 2 or 3 matches. Other than that I'm baffled.

There's a lot of sad people in the world. I don't understand how someone can put so much time and effort into something they clearly hate, but since when are feelings rational?

Chromatic Eagle1 votes

Why do people donate money to streamers just to tell them how much they hate them?

Paquay2 votes

What? People do this? Holy smokes I've found my calling. I can spew off enough garbage for people to toss me $5 and wish me complete misery and torture, haha.

Tormentula2 votes

They don't care since they will just make new accounts to use the hack on.

A lot of them are probably elo boosters doing the script on other accounts. (Notice how some of the xeraph players don't even play xeraph)

Too bad their accounts will get banned, guess this is another reason not to elo boost period.

have you never played an online game before? this happens all the time with other games, since they suck at the game so bad they need to find other ways to win. happened to a game i loved to play, hacks took over and they shut down the game. its just sad its happened for a while here since its riot

Paquay2 votes

No, I mean I get why people use hacks/exploits etc. but I meant this one in particular. It's so blatantly obvious you know for a fact the account is going to get a permaban. There's gotta be a deeper reason.

This really makes me think of the Nigerian email scams. On the surface, they look absolutely stupid for making up such an outrageous story and promising millions of dollars to smuggle the fallen prince's money to safety, but it's actually quite brilliant. All they are doing is weeding out people that aren't completely gullible so that they have a small group of people more likely to buy into the scam.

Since this is so over-the-top obvious they have to know they will be caught and the accounts banned. I highly doubt anyone smart enough to make a script/hack is going to be dumb enough to put it on full display in such an overt manner unless there's a reason behind it.

Sorry, went down a rabbit hole there, but yeah, I was referring directly to this script.

Lol. Surprised to see myself name-dropped. But yeah, Riot needs to get on this ASAP. The Xerath's buddies were laughing in allchat and quite happy to be boosted by a hack.

Was it just his duo partner or were the whole team dush? Usually when the enemy see a person who is intentionally feeding on my team and I ask them to report them since it is obvious they are purposely walking down mid they would usually encourage it and be cheering him on.

Akaliholic1 votes

Er, could only be 1 duo cause I was in Solo Queue.

LegendmakerGX1 votes

I meant were his other team mates being jerks too?

Akaliholic1 votes

Was just one other person that I remember, but oddly the rest of his team didn't want to report him. I was slightly amazed that people are so desperate for freelo that they'd forgive hacking if it works in their favor.

Sohleks2 votes

I find it very very strange Riot is overall quiet about this and haven't simply disabled Xerath.

Skins Project5 votes

It's a script combined with a bug.. Being that it is a script and not just a bug, riot won't just disable Xearth.

Disables occur when it's a bug.. This is a script, it's just ban.

Fairyfleur1 votes

It's not a glitch or bug, it's a hack. So, they can't really fix it without changing Xerath's kit. From that point it's better to just ban all players who use it.

Tormentula4 votes

Its a bug.

The hack just makes the bug easier to execute (makes xeraph channel his Q and stand in the right spot more consistently) but the whole thing is infact a bug.

Think the double attack speed kog'maw kiting script, its not something you can't do without the script, its something that is not humanly possible to execute on a regular basis without the script. Same case with xeraph but he normally can't do this except for this bug.

AmazoX1 votes

Its not a bug, Its a script with a bugged added onto it. They can only ban those who are scripting, Regardless, Issue should solved.

Tormentula2 votes

you can get banned for abusing bugs too.

A lot of accounts were banned when riven had her instant recall (or tp?) bug.

Fairyfleur1 votes

Ah, from what I've been hearing it's been just a hack. Thanks, but why wasn't the bug a problem before the hack was released?

Tormentula1 votes

Probably newly discovered or overlooked for awhile due to being tricky to pull off, then the scripts came in.

DrCyanide1 votes

Meddler replied about it, they're working on it and have dished out some permabans already.

Fairyfleur2 votes

It isn't a bug or glitch. This is a hack. They cannot fix it simply by disabling Xerath, beacause it is third party and they don't know what files he altered or what he changed. While people that duo with these players should probably be banned, I feel it should only be after the first few games. A lot of players may not know their friend has the hack at first.

crippler381 votes

Supposedly it works by standing in a specific spot of your base and charging the q to a specific length, so the bug isn't as bad as say singed killing baron in 10 seconds.

Fairyfleur1 votes

The hack allows you to do that consistently, every time Q is up.

crippler381 votes

Yeah, but most people don't use hacks.

Fairyfleur1 votes

The hack I'm talking about is the reason this thread was made.

crippler381 votes

Which again, most people won't use.

Enough will to make it annoying yes, but not enough to completely disable a character.

Besides, hacking gets the account banned.

o Eon O5 votes

Isn't as bad as Singed killing baron in 10 seconds? You have to be joking,an xerath doing this solo ends games in under 10 minutes everytime, yet a singed being able to solo baron which spawns at 20 mins is more broken

crippler381 votes

The reason why it's more broken is because singed just has to exist and walk near baron to do it, xerath has to use an exploit and do something specific. That makes it so it's a less widespread problem so long as people don't happen to fire q in that singular spot for the hyper specific amount of time.

EDIT: or they don't use the script.

o Eon O3 votes

You can, and people have, won games against Singed when he was capable of that. It is a literal impossibility to win games against a cheating xerath. He has a full build by 8-9 minutes into the game, one shotting the entire enemy team at the same time, along with all enemy minions with one Q at 9 mins in. Nothing is more broken than that.

Singed was also rarely played back then too, so I wouldn't bother mentioning how rare it is to encounter one. In fact these people are spamming Xerath more than people were spamming Singed back then.

crippler381 votes

Nope nothing more broken, I just think it's harder to replicate.

Boof My Dildo1 votes

QQ more, tears taste good

o Eon O1 votes

Bronze, closer to 300 games and a 47 percent win rate. Jesus, i can only imagine how many tears you shed

Nymzo2 votes

However it seems this hack is made for Xerath, so disabling him for the time being would be a smart move.

Fairyfleur1 votes

Disabling Xerath won't allow them to fix the problem. They don't know how the player manipulated the files to allow people to do this, so it's better in their minds to ban every player who does it.

Nymzo3 votes

Yes but disabling him would prevent anyone that has the hack that didn't got ban yet to get free wins.

It would only for a time being until they find a solution.

DrCyanide1 votes

Maybe, maybe not. The last time there was an exploit like this it could be triggered by multiple champions. Varus and Vi might be able to use the same exploit, but I suspect they'd be less effective than Xerath because their damage either tapers off or stops at the first champion.

Nymzo1 votes

I'm not sure since the hack is apparently use with a bug with Xerath.

DrCyanide2 votes

Is it a bug with Xerath or with charging abilities in general, of which Xerath just happens to have the best one for exploiting? That's an important distinction to make.

Instant recalls and ultimates on basic abilities were both bugs/exploits related to entire classes of abilities, not specific champions. That's what makes me think it's the charging property of his Q that's being used for the exploit.

When you compare Xerath's Q to other charging abilities it's clearly the strongest for this type of thing, since it's not body-blocked and deals the same amount of damage no matter how many targets it goes through. That could explain why you see Xerath used.

But you could be right, it might be a bug with Xerath. At some point they disabled Xerath because firing Q at the fountain turret would crash the game, maybe what they did to fix that created a vulnerability that the hackers are using.

Nymzo4 votes

For what I understand, the global q is a bug about Xerath and only Xerath. The hack doesn't cause this. This not like the Graves E scenario from like 1or 2 year ago.

The thing is that the hack basically help you exploit that bug by showing where to stand and how much time you need to charge the q.

I don't know why Riot take their sweet ass time to disable him, even if it wouldn't be a bug and the cause would be a hack, it's still fucking worth to disable the only champion that they can use for the exploit.

You can worry about banning them a little bit later, it's just common sense really. The amount of people that lost games because of this exploit is goddamn huge for what I've seen since there's a ton of videos about it over Youtube. Speaking of Youtube, it's a shame that their shitty security doesn't immediately ban someone who sells the same goddamn hack in the comments section. And everybody can see it and of course, buy the hack if they fell like it.

Glory ln Death1 votes

Actually, as far as similar charging abilities go, Sion's Q would be the strongest due to its 3x damage increase, stun, and how it - like with Xerath - is instant and doesn't decrease in damage after hitting a target. If the bug applied to Sion Q, that would be terrifying...

DrCyanide2 votes

How would you expect Riot to permaban them instantly if there isn't a system in place to look for this behavior in game?

I will wait until Riot comes out and acknowledge this either bug/script/hack or what ever you want to call it

The Xerath exploit's being looked at at present. I gather we've also banned some people already for using it too.

Bârd1 votes

Uh, no.

You shouldn't be punished for the actions of other players.

That would be along the lines of getting perma banned because your Duo queue is toxic.

It would also mean that Riot would be permanently banning someone who didn't script and wasn't even reported.

I am her Rakan1 votes

In ELO boosting, don't both the booster and the boostee get punished when they're found out? Duoing and abusing this bug is ELO boosting by using a hack/script/glitch. Hell, you could make a smurf, do this until you can play ranked, and then boost your main using this, and you don't see any issue with this? Whether or not Riot actually does ban duos, I can entirely understand if they do. The point is, don't duo with someone who repeatedly abuses this - you won't have a duo partner for long anyways.

I'm down with a permanent ban for scripters anyway.

With a 14-day ban and rank reset for all those that were clearly piggybacking.
