Nasus does not need more damage -- he needs to live long enough to apply it

Nasus is currently getting damage buffs. Nasus already deals plenty of damage (easily outdamaging similar champions like Sion, Jax, etc) - his issue is that he rarely gets to apply that damage against the multitude of hyper mobile or cc heavy high burst damage champions currently in meta.

Is your intention really to have him able to go toe to toe with a or in the early game off base stats alone? Isn't he supposed to be a brawler / juggernaut?

I agree that more damage isn’t the solution for a nasus buff, but it looks like this fast paced meta isn’t gonna stop. So I think that Riot made the right choice to buff nasus to help him keep up and scale easier with these faster games.

This buff is gonna only give him roughly +70 stacks at 20 min if he gets all of the cannon minions. And getting all of the cannon minions from one lane until 20 minions is a very big if. Roughly +70 damage to his q after getting every single cannon minion for the first 20 min isn’t that much at all. Based on this example I think that this buff is actually a very minor one, a major one would be buffing how many he gains from minions. Because usually you will be stacking from the smaller minions as there is a shit ton in minion waves, while there is only like 0-3 cannons in a wave depending on the number of minions.

If they made it like 4 or 5 stacks per minion then that would be a change to strongly worry about.

That would be the last thing he needs. Wither is his only form of CC. Yes it does absolutely fuck the targeted person, but there are like twenty ways to counter it with stuff like Garen Q. And it is very unreliable in a teamfight because it is single target and only affects 1 person at a time.

If you gave nasus another form of CC then I think we could talk about a wither nerf. But I doubt Riot would do that.

Yeah alot of people bitch about Wither, honestly with how much bullshit is in this game i least worry about wither. If people were to work together instead of going solo 1v1 nasus then they would be fine. Nasus can only W one person.
