Why does a mongoloid champion with no depth like Darius ever receive buffs?

Before you claim I am mad about losing to Darius, observe my recent match history, it isn't like I lose to him most of the time. Quite the opposite in fact, the only time I lost hard was because I had the wrong runes by accident and dozed off.

Darius is a textbook mongoloid champion that frustrates just about anyone regardless. He does exactly one thing with no depth or strategy to it and forces people to play around this. With him being showered with buffs due to Darius mains crying and lying through their teeth about his viability (he was perfectly fine), he has risen again to become an exceedingly popular and toxic pick. Darius is the kind of champion that can honestly never be bad by default of his design, he does not ever need direct buffs as opposed to being helped through other changes to the game.

I never enjoy playing vs Darius, winning or not. No one does, and he is a champion that should be placed into the category of specialists rarely receiving direct buffs like or even
