Soraka - her Q and E

Hello everyone, I would like take a minute to talk about present Soraka's Q and E spells. I know she was reworked into a new champion with a different approach, but I still feel like the job wasn't completely done.

 E = The Equinox I'm always a little disappointed when Soraka's Q can't deal a single bit of damage to minions and they walk just right over it. Sometimes it makes me feel like I'm just a ghost walking in the lane... Now I know Riot is trying to prevent Soraka from having those pushing capabilities she used to have before the rework, but I think they went just a little bit too far.

  • Let's give her E an option to deal 50% of damage to minions and monsters as well as having an ability to bind them too.

This way, her E will be a little bit more appealing as well she will be able to do a little bit more tricks in the lane. (For example, she could slow down an enemy minion wave rushing towards the turret, just till her ally ADC comes.)

 Q = Starcall Now I don't know what others think of this spell, but I personally think this spell needs a complete rework. I still didn't figure out what's the purpose of this spell other than poking an enemy champions in the lane. I can seriously ignore this spell for entire match and would feel almost no difference in my power.

(Also, I find it really weird how insanely fast can the star drop down if it's cast right next to her. It looks like someone is dropping heavy grenades from a helicopter on her.)

~ So, do you like Soraka's present Q and E as they are right now? Or would you change them to work differently? Let me know of what you think.

I hate the new soraka rework, it took everything useful in her kit and just threw it away into some garbage assembly you call a kit

Her E dealing 50% to minions and mpnsters is an ok idea.

About her Q.What makes mad is the the fact that even if u land a perfect Q and E under them,there is small chance you will make use of the combo.

Rather deacrease the AoE on Q (make easier to dodge->i see my ADC get hit by it most of the time) and increase the slow.So that if you hit Q+E there is a bigger chance you make good use of it.

I also though that new Soraka is bad. But recently I played her and she is quite strong.

Stracall is jus tool how to get back HP. Equinox is great spell for denying gangs or win teamfight. Or just for disengaging.

I think its is ok how it is.

If you can land her Q, Soraka is OP. If you can't land her Q, Soraka is garbage.

It's very binary gameplay centered around a skillshot that can be awkward to land. It wasn't so bad before when you could stack health regen items on her and ignore her Q, but since her health regen nerf how much you contribute to the battle is dictated entirely on landing that ability. Riot has frowned upon such gameplay in the past, but they seem to be okay with having it on the goat lady.

Because they don't like the goat lady.

I had this idea of reducing her Q range to that smaller circle inside of it and having it drop down really fast and have a shorter cool-down

I have tried utility, defense, mixed, but imo whenever I run mostly offense tree I end up contributing more to my team. The other trees will definitely help you in her weaker lane phase but I feel the new Soraka shines way better in team fights and objective battles where landing a Q or E in confined area is much easier. The extra AP is needed to help her Q W E R to actually feel somewhat useful. Since many of the support items are too good to pass up for Soraka you probably won't be able to build much AP. Also using ability scaling blues, basically try her out with more AP. See if you feel like you are making a bigger impact. So far the matches I have played with her I have found her most useful stats are AP and Health/HRegen. She definitely needs a few good teammates more so than other supports to make her presence felt and I do think she is a better situational pick.

I didn't see this topic so I made one already, but I think it would be cool if her e provided consistent Vision instead of the short spurt her q does.

Soraka's Q has had a fixed travel time for a few patches now, hasn't it?
