Why do people say Lee Sin is overpowered?

How many others can Dash to you under ur turret, Kick you out of it, and dash back to his ally, All while doing % of ur missing hp and 100-200% of his AD as damage with virtually no costs. And can build a sightstone on a non-support and not be any weaker for it?

Also, how many wards u gonna have placed at lv2-3?

if you ward you should be able to see him coming. even if you are mid and he ganks on the other side just walking away to your tower seems stop his advance. He kicks you out from the tower, flash/CC/use mobility to get back while he takes a tower shot or 2. they both dive you? focus on one because one is almost guaranteed to fall to the tower. Theres a good 1 for 1 trade with a possible clean up if your jungler is in position/ has enough health/mana. Even with out the clean up theres a good chance that the second diver will have to recall and miss CS.

Sure, sure. Ward and you'll see him coming.

Except:

You can be lane ganked
Can be cleared with a sweeper
Cleared with the buff from smiting Wraiths (Or whatever Riot calls them now, they're Wraiths dammit)
Can be pink warded
Ward placement is pretty predictable and can be walked around and avoided.
Can gank from behind the tower
Can slip behind you in the lane
If you have enough vision to actually cover all of these angles (Almost impossible), Lee is one of the best tower diver junglers.
Properly set-up ganks can result in you stunlocked as Lee approaches with his enormous mobility, CC and damage.
Mid lane has EVEN MORE directions you can gank from and even MORE predictable warding locations.

To top it off, Lee has the absurd mobility to get around the wards or Hell directly to you before you can get to your tower. It's evident from the fact that Lee still gets ganks off in the professional scene. Please spare me that his ganks are so easily avoidable. Hell most junglers can do these steps to avoid wards, the fact Lee has a ridiculously high amount of mobility just makes it even harder to avoid him.

they actually are easily avoidable. all it takes is to dodge his q in most cases. he sneeks on you in lane, depending on where he comes from he either A takes tower aggro, or B you make it back to your tower. I dont understand why you would wanna push too far alone anyways when you know the enemy jungler is a heavy ganker unless you can see where he is.

i guess what im trying to say here is that as long as you play smart you wont have problems.

I'd hate to bring professional play into this, but you brought up the skill ceiling, so I'll bite. He got ganks off in professional play, where they certainly play smart, for so many seasons in a row. He still does it now. He doesn't do it because he's "Easy to avoid."

ill let you have that one, i dont watch the LCS because its just flat out boring for me. but the pros have mastered those champions so it is to be expected that they could still pull it off. they are the best players in the world, if the Lee Sin in the LCS cant do that then he wouldnt be playing him

Well he does have powerful early ganks and the early laning phase is usually when you have the least wards until you recall to get some, or you hit level 9 and get the trinket upgrade.

you ward run to tower he still dives you kicks you out from tower jumps to his friend for tower doesn't hit him and gets a kill. Then 60 seconds later when you respawn and take 30-45 seconds to get back to lane and are only in lane for 15-30 seconds he does the same thing.
