Cho'Gath might be the most uninteractive laner of all times, on par with Nasus...

Yet, he's fucking getting buffed.

Like, are you serious?

If you're gonna help his teamfight sustain, then fucking nerf his 2.5 seconds AoE almost instant silence. Also adjustate the visuals, so it reflects the real area of the spell.

And fix his Q indicator.

this buff is really small, and not that much of a deal, just makes his ult not pointless when he is max size, also he is easy to shut down

"Not pointless"

Ya mean dealing 300/475/650 true damage + 70% of your AP is useless?

"He has to get into melee range"

Garen Darius have to go into melee range to use their ults too, yet are being permabanned right now.

"He's easily kiteable"

item 3027 item 3742 item 1311 item 3285 item 3135 item 3089 "Kiteable"

"He has no teamfight presence"

An AoE 2.5 seconds silence is hardly no presence at all. With an AoE knock up too.

I'm not saying we should nerf Cho, but we shouldn't buff him either.

At least, reduce his AP scalings, so you can emphasis the Tank Cho'Gath builds.

I am a cho'gath main, and I think he is in a pretty good spot right now, I really am not sure if these buffs are needed, and I hope he won't end up permabanned, but still the buffs didn't seem game breaking to me. It just rewards last-hitting champs with your ult, when at 6 Stacks you had no reason to try to last hit with it.

Definitely yes, I'm actually feeling that right now. Cho'Gath is a pretty ancient champion, and so his kit design is of a simpler time, with straight-forward abilities and high bases damages. Our data indicates he's actually one of the weakest champions in the game, and also one that is not picked too often. Cho'Gath players tend to really enjoy the simplicity of his kit, and the visceral feeling of chain-cc-nomming someone, but other players despise playing against it (understandably). It's hard to measure the cost; does buffing him for the players that love him outweigh the pain that others may experience playing against him? I think that he does need some love, just a little bit, so I'm trying to give him something that makes more people happy than sad.
