Has anyone figured out by now how to play vs Ekko in midlane?

I'm a toplane main and mainly play long ranged poke heavy champs like Varus and Lux midlane, and I can say those don't work. I also found myself getting outtraded as an Ahri all the time. My full basic combo did about 40%, while his did 70%. Seriously guys, please tell me your secrets. How do you beat Ekko?

Ranged poke heavy champions are his weakness lel. You need to stay out of range. Even if it means giving up the farm at the back line. You farm with your arrow or your E, but you do not auto-attack if it means taking a few steps from turret (unless he's bound).

Unless you're playing that highly mobile champion that is also a poke championNidalee. Her pounce outranges his E by a lot.

Ekko does out-trade Ahri though. The reason is that his combo is easier to avoid. When he Qs you, you move to the side, not back, so it won't hit you on the return.

Worst magic DPS to face against Cassiopeia. Dodges everything Ekko does, her Distortion can make Ekko waste his E Leblanc

I'm thinking Kassadin plays well +6 with his teleport. He can dodge the W and Q as well as clutch R.

And Malzahar because Malzahar. item 3140/item 3139 won't be a worth item on Ekko. item 3102 might get bought against you.

dodge his Q : make like your aggressive then walk to the left/right Instant burst and instant back Constant movements When you hear his W and you know the jungler wo'nt gank, all in, cause he often places behind you and not in front of

Chogath This asshole counter justs about everyone in the midlane. Try Chode'Gath.

If you are losing as Lux vs Ekko, don't play her; she actually counters him pretty hard, if you don't miss all your skills.

As Ahri your Q has a faster travel time than his and grants you movespeed. Hit him with your Q and then dodge his. If he engages you with E then charm him. Auto attack him when he moves forward to cs. It's really very simple, Ekko has a pretty weak lane phase until he finishes his first item.
