90% of the Time I'm Honoring Support

The majority of the games I see the triple honor icon pop up next to the hardest carry. I main jungle and even when taking rift herald to get Fb tower, secure dragons, help FB, do multiple ganks and invades to prevent lane ganks I dont get honor.

Same goes to the support who diligently wards so their laner doesnt get ganked, roams mid to gank midlane and also ward middle to bottom map, ward dragons when I ping the timer, ward baron when pinged, peels for the carry to get the kills, initiates for the team to get the kills etc. So much goes unappreciated in the macro game with vision and objective timing that lets the carries do their job of damage safely

It's just junglers need to have the flashy 2v5 baron steals or supports having some redemption triple kill and big carry save before they get noticed. I sure notice when we have a great support, so to that 120-2-15 Xayah, I'm gonna honor the support that got you there

I'm a jungle main as well & I never get honored. I think what people don't think about how heavy they are & how hard a good support/jg can carry. Jgs can make the difference between a winning & losing lane & usually get blamed if a lane lost. Supports can make sure there heavy adc's stay in check & don't feed.

As a Lux support main, I'm also unpleasantly surprised when I get 1 honor at the end of the game when I got an ult steal on Baron to let us win the game.

I think a good jungler is probably the most important player in a given game. Ganking, counterganking, invading, dragon/Baron control, Herald control... especially if they're the one making the calls, not just following up on whatever the mid/top laner says.

I feel like it's sort of, "supports think junglers are better and junglers think supports are better" type of thing, with the mid, top, and ADC generally honoring each other based on who got the most kills. From my experience, at least.

I think a lot of the times the other laners have no idea whats going on with the rest of the map. All they see is "this person has killed xxx" across their screen so at the end they have no idea who did what and just go based on high scores :/

Jungle and support are more mapwide and macro oriented and subtle when a ! ping with vision is essentially the same as -1 kill for the roaming enemy.

Yeah, I consistently have the highest vision score in the game, even during a loss. It's too bad that people can't see vision score and damage dealt before they have to honor someone; if they wouldn't honor for staying calm or for good shotcalling, they could at least honor for the person having a good game if they saw the damage, objective control, and vision score in the end screen—having it all charted out makes it easier to see who had the most impact.

I would guess it would get better at higher elo, though, so I guess the lesson to junglers and supports is, "hurry up and climb."

Edited to add: It's also pretty tilting when the laner doesn't pay any attention to your warning pings and then whines that you didn't help at all when they get ganked for sitting at the enemy turret. It happens a lot in Gold, probably more in Silver and Bronze.

i will be honest im very selective with who i honor and if i honor...

people should be as well... it shouldnt be for who has the most damage or kills cuz we all know ( or should know ) the game is more then that...

i honor if i feel someone did something then what is expected of a teammate... i honor for those who play of team... instead of individual which is most cases tends to be a support or jungler.

ill honor someone who does something special in a game

well so you really want players to get honored for playing shit like Janna Soraka and pressing a button every now and then on the carry? because i sure as hell won't ever honor a player who plays such a champion.

if it's something like Thresh or something where you actually need some skill, then he can also get honored for good hooks, i have also seen that yet.

the argument that junglers never get honor is just plain BS. the Jungler can do so much in a game, and teammates will honor you if you win their lane for them or just play good in general.

but i won't honor anyone just because he played support or jungle.

also, if a Xayah is actually 120-2-15, then that is never solely because of the support. and ofc i'm gonna honor the carry if he plays very well.
