Should the new Elder Dragon buff's execution mechanic have limited range?

I look at how it works and I worry that it would make Teemo, Karthus, and other Champions with super-long-range ultimates obnoxious with the execute. Making the execute have limited range would require more risk, rather than just having a Teemo who has his enemies walk into a bunch of mushrooms across the map.

Another reason for why the execute should have limited range has to do with seeing it coming. The wind-up is supposed to let players avoid it with certain effects like item 3157 , but if the attacker is too far away, you won't be as likely to time your defense properly since your visual cue will be MIA.

This wouldn't be too unreasonable, IMO.

I think that'd probably be fair to stop global attacks from executing. Especially ones like Nidalee's traps, which aren't generally meant for damage. It'd also make more sense in terms of being something for closing out games (what Riot wants), instead of stalling by picking off some random low-health champions.

What kind of range are you thinking?

I neither agree nor disagree, but I feel like limiting certain champions and allowing others is just not a good idea. A big part of these champion's kits are their global abilities.

A champion that needs to get close to you will just be straight up better with the elder dragon than champions with global/long range abilities.
