Blue Trinket - Farsight Alteration - Can it be placed from any location on map?

BlueBilberry··1 votes·417 views

Stupid question - but can a blue trinket (farsight alteration) be placed literally anywhere on the map? I just lost a game where we were sneaking the elder dragon and a Veigar who was all the way back at base was somehow able to place his blue orb right beside the dragon. (Just watched the replay and it wasn't beside our jungler when he started.)

It's not global, but it does have a massive range. The range is about equal to Nocturne's ult range at rank 3 (4,000). Most ranged champions have their range at 550.
