If this goes through, then this is going to be rough - even for support Sona. Would you care to elaborate how? Her basic spells cost 25 mana more, but if she grants an aura to an ally she gets a 30 mana refund. Support Sona should barely be affected by those changes.
The main difference being, Galio & Akali actually saw play. Sona does not.
I don't mind increasing Sona's support capabilities and decreasing her independence capabilities. Encourage players to play her as support and not as a nutty off dps who bullies bruisers. (God damn Sona you did double the damage overall of your adc with Lichbane itself.)
i miss the sona from before the season 7 changes... near half life chunking squishys with one empowered lich bane auto attack in the early mid game was pretty fun. i felt people respected sona poke more back then.
