Leveling up isn't rewarding for those of us who had too much IP before

Now I have too much BE instead of having too much IP, and all I get for leveling up is more BE.

I feel like we should get really slow incremental progress towards skins. If somebody's been playing LoL for a few years they're probably not going to buy any more or any less RP regardless of what you do. What you should think about is how much you can keep them playing LoL vs other games.

Or maybe there should be a BE sink that people like me would use, like say for example we could do the skin boost with BE? People who are saving up BE for champions might not use it but people who don't know what to do with their BE would use it.

I've been spending my blue essence on rune pages, up to 20.

Pretty sure you can have more than 20 rune pages now since I got two seven page bundles in old runes. That means I had 14 plus 2, 16. I bought like seven thinking I only had 13 before and noticed it didn't stop me from buying more and now have more than 20 pages. All I'm doing is every time a new champ comes out I buy them and a page or two. I still have every champion and 60k BE.

Too much IP wasn't really rewarding before either.

BE emporium is theoretically going to be a twice a year thing, and you can get a lot of normally RP (probably not champion skins aside from urfwick, but chromas/ward skins/icons/etc, and gemstones to go towards those mythic skins) content during those if you stockpile your BE until then.

You can have up to 25 rune pages now too if you haven't already capped out on those, up from the previous max of 20.

edit: And also keep in mind leveling up isn't just more BE, theres other stuff at the milestone levels. Mostly just emotes that may not be relevant to you, and theres a ward skin I believe, but it's still something beyond just BE.

but you can also obtain rune pages for champions you enjoy, mastery levels for new champions? Try new champions for whatever shards roll your way, Level borders and emotes! They're actually pretty nice around your summoner icon and to show off in game until level 175 really, lvl 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600, and so on grant gemstones! Pretty far away and far from each other but definitely something to look forward to if you're dedicated and like http://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=toucanceleste who has reached lvl 257 with exp boosts lol.
