a) Significant sustain burns through his mana demanding Q harass if he overuses it. b) His W literally drops him on top of you. Don't run away if he engages, fight back, especially if he's standing on top of your minions. If he decides to keep fighting, all of your minions will start wailing away at him.

idk, I just do it, how you farm is highly dependent on who your playing you dont see melee mid laners bitch at how mages are throwing shit at them nonstop as they try to farm

Panth is sleeper OP. Almost guaranteed damage. Great top and good jungle. Very underrated. I personally hope he gets a gameplay and visual rework.

If you see him blow E on minions just go harass him. Build armor. Be ranged. Ask for a gank. He's hardly OP unless you are a newb.

Dude of course there are counter picks to Panth. You can't expect to have an easy time with him on certain Champs. That's the nature of the game.

I'm just saying that once you know his mechanics he is hardly OP. He's free this week so try him yourself and find his weaknesses.

play a certain champ, a certain playstyle, a certain build. otherwise? you are going to lose.

The first line is champion pick. Certain champions will beat other champions and lose to a third set of champions. And then the rest are considered, more or less, equal matches. Then, there's the build. If you're playing against a champion that's going to give you a hard time in the lane, counter-build to beat them. Pick one specific early item that you can use, something that will make them less difficult to handle. And, yes, the final part is out-playing them. Recognizing how to defeat your opponent, and using that knowledge, is extremely important.

And, yes, in the laning phase, your main goal is to counter-play one champion. It doesn't matter which lane you're playing, even Jungle has counter-jungling and counter-ganking. You make smart early game plays to get a lead, and then you transition into the late game team fights by being equally smart, as well as working with your team.

If that's too much to process, by all means, quit League of Legends. It's only the basis of playing the game, after all.

Most pantheons playing top will waste their mana on E'ing minions and throwing their Q at you to poke you. Use that to your advantage early game before they can secure lane. Focus on early game lane sustain when dealing with a pantheon. Get doran's shield and ninja tabi, and make sure to use potions. Trust me, almost all pantheons will waste their mana on minions and poke. Think of them as someone fighting on bot lane. Notice that most people on bot lane will almost always be at half mana or less? For bot lane the side that keeps their mana up is almost always the side that wins lane. The same can be said of top lane and middle lane. Let pantheon waste his mana and you will gain control over top lane. I should know as I've played pantheon alot and have also played against pantheon alot.
