Umm... uh-oh. That's pretty bad for a champion played primarily by mains. (In fact very bad)
I still blame really bad itemization for this.
As a sion main, since the update I always rush corrupting double dorans to have any lane pressure, then I either build deadman's or spirit visage into whichever I didn't get, then gargoyle stoneplate then I desperately need mana so I have to go frozen heart either fourth or fifth leaving me only ONE optional item.
It's pretty pathetic actually when an update that introduced so much change and new diversity, reduced the diversity it intended to make.
Also, those sion buffs might not be... Enough.
I really think he could do with more mana, be it from a larger pool or lower mana costs (looking at you 65 mana cost 6% hp shield [even though it's getting buffed to 8%]) but also having some items be less terrible, like randuins or sunfire.
Either way, this is really bad. I hope he will get the buffs he deserves in the next two upcoming patches.
