Renekton and Kled changes are making toplane more of a coin-toss

These changes are going the wrong direction, I feel.

The changes to Renekton barely affect much other than his ability to melt down a shield of someone in the literal blink of an eye. I'd rather have Irelia's old passive back over this, this is just brain-dead by comparison. And it doesn't even really help his lane-presence out besides a few match-ups like Karma, Riven, or a slew of tanks who actively rely on their shields in order to suffice for the weakness of their presence in lane.

The changes to Kled feel more targeted towards sustaining champions like Aatrox, Illaoi, Olaf, etc. It doesn't even give them the opportunity to do much if he goes in for an all-in because he can pretty easily land his Q's yank, and the slap to the face behind it all is that it's a more powerful passive than item 3123 has to offer. Grievous wounds already feel pretty bad to play against early if you're relying on health-replenishing mechanics to have some sort of relevance early, but having this straight from the gate on a champion such as Kled feels like the design choices for top lane are taking a disastrous turn.

Please Riot, console with your top-lane player base. I've quit playing it nearly as much because it feels way too unforgiving and one-sided anymore, and these changes more so detour me from wanting to get back into it at all.

For the sake of discussion, what's everyone else's thoughts on these changes, mains or not?
