NEW RUNE TREE
I have noticed, as many others have as well, that the resolve tree feels a bit cramped. Melee damage over time champions don't seem to be properly served by the tree (shout out to juggernauts). Riot acknowledged at release that they likely would need more runes at some point, and possibly even a new tree. I'd like to see resolve broken down into two trees: One more focused on defensive tanks, and one on offensive tanks. For now we'll call them Resolve and Bravery.
What goes in this new bravery tree though? Well, here are some ideas. Note that I did not designate any of them as keystones.
-The existing aftershock rune -After X seconds out of combat, gain a shield or % damage reduction -Dashing or blinking grants a shield or % damage reduction -after using a dash, blink, or summoner spell, gain % resistance for each nearby enemy champion
and here are some very similar ideas
-Healing/shielding yourself grants either adaptive resistance pen or adaptive damage -Healing/shielding yourself grants tenacity
-Gain slowly growing omnivamp over 5 seconds in combat with champions, up to a cap -Gain slowly growing resistances over 5 seconds in combat with champions, up to a cap -Gain slowly growing adaptive damage over 5 seconds in combat with champions, up to a cap
-Gain % omnivamp every time you damage a champion, up to a cap -Gain % resistance bonus every time you damage a champion, up to a cap --Gain adaptive damage every time you damage a champion, up to a cap
